As I walk through the streets of Neocron, I feel empty. Something is not there - as it once was; showing me that the world is indeed whole and right. I know not when the world changed; but it simply has.
My outlook has dimmed.
My ego has been shorn.
My spirits dampened.
BRING BACK THE FLYING DRONES!!!1
THE PLAZA SECTORS AND VIA 3 AREN'T THE SAME ANYMORE

please vote 5 stars so as someone will look into what buggered the drones
I agree 100%. Perhaps it can be tied it with "Tightening of security before the war with DOY"
The Plaza 1 hover thingy occasionally makes an appearance parked in the DRE shop. Upside down, hanging stationary near the ceiling more often than not.
Fuck knows what that's all about o_O
There is 1 in PLaza.... um...3 as well near crytons
Half the time there's one in Plaza 3 too... O_o
The main problem people is, THEY ALL DON'T MOVE.

yep i too miss the flying NCPD drones. i say KK should sort it out. as they add to the atmosphere of the game.
i think that they should be able to shoot like the copbots can as well :D
I wondered what those things were, just hanging around!
But yeh I agree they would add atmosphere to the empty sky of Neocron

Yea gettin owned by black little thingies that move rreally fast cuz u cant hit them lol in pepper park instead of copbots all factions would team up to kill them it would be player vs copdrone instead of playervs player

Without them flying by every thirty seconds in via 3, the place seems so much smaller.
They added so much to the atmosphere of the city.

Its a bug that KK are not going to fix, its been in what, 4,5 patches and still no "fix". Maybe its a feature!

I really really wish that the NCPD surviellance drones would return, flying high and proud!
My god, I miss them terribly - they added an incredible amount of atmosphere and gave a TRUE sense of CityAdmin/NCPD's omnipresence in Neocron City...

Yeah, bring 'em back. It added the feeling that 'NPCD is watching you'.
Also, bring back the patrolling Copbots.. I really miss them from betas *cries*
Was damn funny seeing 4 bots stuck to each other :)

but yeah i remember when i first started the drones were neat... now they just hang around on the walls and well... yeah... do nothing.
and hte sky and sun and stuff that u can see in the city was nice...
I seem to remember there was some sort of problem that developed with the clipping that meant the drones kept vanishing into walls, never to return. If KK can fix the problem and get the NCPD drones back up and running it would add a LOT of atmosphere back to the Plaza sectors.
That shot of the sun between the city blocks is awesome, BTW. :)

Edit: And that RPOS look from beta is SO MUCH COOLER than the one they're using now! Wonder why KK dumped it?
i think thats a matter of opinion. i hate that old RPOS i think it looks takky to be honest. anyway its older than public beta that one, must have been at least closed beta

There's almost always one stuck in the Diamond office with the Aggie Cellars in Plaza 1.
Personally, I think it would be cool if they added drones that actually looked like drones, and floated around not just in the sky, but near the ground too.
Isn't that what we see in the login screen? :eek:

it's not even one of those "close to call" type votes it's a massive distinction, if any vote threads were gonna be acknowledged it should be these sorta ones... it's one of the rare times this community actually agrees on something :eek:

Bring them BACK. That is my memory of Beta 4 that is missing. That and I stepped inside a lvl 2 apt yesterday.... for the first time since beta..... *cries* I remember this stuff. Bring back the drones!!!!!!!

It's pretty damn clear now. And again I ask, why did they disappear in the first place?! Maintenance costs or what?
And I love the little antecotes about a particular memory with those NPCD surviellance drones! Keep them coming!

Doesn't make sense why they disappeared. More Copbots were added, so you'd think they would want to keep surveilance up. It adds so much to see those things flying around.
if they brought them back they should fit them with gatling turrets and make the damagable. that way they could be used to fighta aginst TG when they come into the city after DoY is launched.

Dude - its not about them being there to kick ass.
Its about them being there to add to the scene.
The place seems so much bigger with shite flying around, notice everyones feeling all cramped since they disapeared? Sure, they might also have gotten really used to their enviroment... bt... shh.
