View Full Version : Wouldn't it be cool if each HQ had a "head boss" mob that was in charge of that HQ?

I mean like a super 120/120 rank NPC that was the leader of that HC. Like it could be a fearsome stormbot for CA/NCPD. Or it could be a 120/120 hybrid monk, :D, for Crahn HQ. Imagine, he self buffs and heals.
What do you think? :D

Anyway back on topic.
YES LOVE THE IDEA.
one small problem tho, what about epics..... youd need your entire clan to come take out the boss with you!! (thinking tangent and biotech epics anyway as not sure how many others require you to kill the enemy faction head).
Also wouldnt this lead to factions jus camping eachothers hqs to level and not actually bothering with the rest of neocron........

this is a very good idea, it adds some new hilevel content and then ya can go HQ ganking with youre clan, so theres always a bit of danger in going to a HQ :) wich is good hehe

I like the idea, infact i think its been suggested before.
however, when it comes to the HQ CEO kills for epic missions i belive it might be more appropriate to have a sepperait "SUPED"-up npc away from the CEOs, for lower level chars trying to compleat the Epics.
But yer, good idea! Now can we make it so as killing this NPC wont effect your SL?

I kinda like the idea. Would also like to see npc guards automatically appear in Ops to protect them, like in Dark Age of Camelot. They then broadcast messages on the appropriate chat channel if they come under attack.
Alternatively, perhaps they are robots/cyborgs that have to be purchased and setup like turrets, but then have a certain degree of autonomous movement thereafter. The setup time would be lengthy, forcing them to be used as initial defense implacements rather than dropped during a fight.
