I get that everytime I press the down arrow key
or shift with any other arrow key

anyone know the cause or a fix?

Got TS running?

Edit: If I used arrows in NC when TS was running I crashed... if that's your problem... 2 options:
1. Don't use TS anymore
2. Use other keys to move (WASD)

The arrow keys problem can be fixed, goto Settings/Options/Other and check "Disable Direct input" That should fix that crashing problem (for TS)

it may be the numlock bug or so ive heard try taking numlock off

Your .ddl on the CD could be corrupt, might be some sort of driver conflict (if you have updated anything recently you might want to consider reverting). If you haven’t, you might want to borrow someone else's CD or download the .ddl You could also try re-binding your keys, it sounds like it could be some sort of conflict there.

I downloaded it off www.dome-of-york.com/download, Patched it. its still crashing and I have no "quick key" combinations setup.

i remember a discussion between CoDi+ and FBI about arrow keys and crashing NC, it was in the TS forum, thread seems deleted now tho :( try sending CoDi a DM, but on another note, do u have the chat-function while moving enabled?

Had the same problem when I used Teamspeak, I'm quite sure other voicecom applications may cause the same thing as teamspeak.

Edit: I fixed my teamspeak, I just disabled something in options somewhere
