Just a thought that passed my mind
(prolly got a speeding ticket but hey wtf..)
Wouldn't it be good if the Techs n' MC5 parts very store sold
VERY VERY expensive
(Read: VERY VERY VERY expensive) but still sold somewhere
Since atm anyone can make a shitload of money
but mostly no one manages to get into MC5.. Why?
Not cuz it's too hard
but cuz there's a certain amount of campers
And camping is BAD Mmm'kay.
Shouldn't be the easiest store to get to
Not the safest either
Should be faaar away
and filled with shit that hasn't got any good drop
but do dmg, ALOT of dmg.
(Make a zone with one shop in the middle. An assload of mountains
and 3,216 orcs... No wait that Munchkin.. 3,216 dragonflies)
This way we sneaky sneaky spies atleast get a chance to get those
precious artifacts.
As it is now. U make a monkey and cap, then go MC5.
Not many other options
And when being a droner. This is just a waaay to deadborn thought

Everyone should atleast have a CHANCE to get stuff they can use
and AFAIK there's MC5 chips designed for spies and PE's to...
Or maybe I'm way outta my head... Hmm..

100% agree... i want an SA, however theres no way ill get the parts, will have to pay shit loads!
and a PPU and an APU can camp it for hours alone... O_o
MC5 is THE ONLY reason I am levelling up an APU. I want my SA!

Some of us have helpful clanmates that have no probs whatsoever hand over to use any parts they won't use (re: DS parts and SAs). It's nice of them and gives me a fuzzy feeling in my tummy.

Normal rares (commons) drop so fast atm as it is, why u compaining? Kill a WB and ur suprisd if u dont get a rare and not suprised if u get 2 or 3...
MC5 is different.. but MC5 chips are supposed to be one of the hardest things to get in the game, not store boguht. If there store bought u would have to have crytons tech staff camping MC5 24/7 to get the parts they sell in the shop.

Well...on my unclanned character I made friends with other loan runners (1 PPU, a tank, and a PE) and we made MC5 runs...
It's that whole social interaction thingie.

The night before I "retired" my PE, I tested him in MC5...
He brought one part home, solo.
PE, with no PPU. :p
I think that some NPC out in the wastelands should be able to
sell random unidentified techparts for like a few hundred
thousand a piece. That would make all the spare money
disappear in an instant. Would make the economy decent again.

You guys do know that self cast PE buffs are ALMOST as strong as PPU cast PE buffs...right? :p
Combine that with all the PSI Spells I use.
+ DB
+ A never-used Pistol
+ Stealth
+ Some Zoning :p
+ A long time compared to monk runso_O

No. Because it's too much of a gamble. Considering there's like what, 300+ parts in the rare parts pool. ANd you would have to pay a couple hundred thousand to get a random one?

IF YOU ARENT GOOD ENUFF TO GET MC5 PARTS YOU DO NOT DESERVE THE CHIPS. WHY CANT THINGS IN A MMORPG BE REAL HARD WITHOUT A BUNCH OF FUCKING CAREBEARS STARTS WHINING.

may they be allies or enemies, they attack anyways.

yup it would be nice 2 buy mc5 stuff somewhere as the non clan people /people who like solo play could at least have a chance to get them.
i know that co op play is the idea but what about the poor people who can only play when there are 60-70 people online????

I got two SAs during the low population hours you are talking
about and I wasnt clanned at the time. First one within a week.
Then again there was glass in MC5 back then :p
