I will be doing an event on SATURN on thursday

Please do not crowd outside oz station, the apc wont drive there, they tend to wander around a couple zones north and around there, but not at oz station.

the event was a load of AB guys coming at OZ gate but they were pwned to hell. they were in the sewers too but i missed em.
the chip WILL be explained. the nice pp lady was saying she cant talk about it but its been in development for a while.
Maybe its a money sync but it could be a really cool chip! besides it was only 400k and u helped save the city so quit ur bitching ;) :)

I dont think there was much wrong with the event, the problem was many people didnt get to experience it.
At first i thought the fighting at oz station was part of the event however due to a weak faction system everyone was fighting their enemies rather than a force of pro and anti city. Therefore there was no structure and no side could win. I helped a bd attack a tg who zoned, then as the tg had gone the bd attacked me o_O (im CM atm on my ppu) i was just very confused as to who i was ment to be fighting. Was it just a royal rumble started by players who couldnt stand to play an event through with red players? Or was it an event that couldnt be implimented properly due to the poor faction system, ie your enemies are your allies allies 8|

Anyways the event sounded good, i just wish i could have played it through :(

Edit: re-reading above it looks like we were ment to be fighting anarchy breed to start with, once they were dead did people just kill each other? I ran in soon after it was announced but all i could find was pvp...

i found the PKers too, but after i while i stealthed throo them all and went to jerico. then loadsa peolple ran past me to the gates :D
there didnt seem to be PKing after the event but the sync did get me soon after...
still waiting to go back in...:confused: :(

I had a good time, but i wish i had been out there killing troop carriers instead of killing animals to get the 20 parts.

I liked the event: sure there are problems, but its a shitload better than what normally happens. I say, do them as often as you like just to make things interesting. I don't care how much lag it causes. Its worth the effort to me.

Haha they are talking about me, supposedly I deliberately killed 2 spys with my CS. With 1 frames per second, how the hell am I supposed to have a perfect aim with no friendly fire. Everyone got hit loads by accident but I guess spys just feel it more :p. The irony is, the people that had a go at me for 'pking' were spotted above laying turrets around.

putting all technical issues asside, i really enjoyed this event, i thought the way it was planned was fantastic, it caught everyone when they were off guard so u had the whole saturn community all running to oz station. i spawned my hovertech and went straight to the jeriko fortress, where i could see 3 troop carriers pooring pestilence and deploying anarcy breed, i went straight for the dude driving the truck which i presume was GM controlled :)

i gotta give thumbs up to whoever thought of this event and sell well done, also the community was fantastic too, becuase at jeriko it didnt matter if u were anti city or city we all worked together.

as for the fights after at the oz station well :p all i can say is i got sum dogtags i had on my wanted list for sum time :D

i think thats me fallin down the hill on one of the pics. im pretty sure thats me on the one enar the end with the AB in the dip and a pe with a pain easer shootin em at point blank range.

somehow i had at least 10 fps though te event at most points, bout 15 on average

I realy enjoyed that lill event, i thought it was very well done on the part of the GMs driveing the APCs , feel sorry for the guy who say the "-stormbot" as i looked down from the top of the hill next to NC gates he was being picked on (some one shouted "kill him" and pulled out a rare fusion cannon).

However i would REALY like to know what were supposed to do with thease dam Bps we picked up, iv already been and explored PP hq and cant find any special NPCs.

PS: i to have never seen my self on some one elses screen shots, but even when im not listed in the ones that Chojin took, you can see me quite frequently (was the PE in grey suit with FirstLove).

personally i didnt find the FPS too bad
mine never dropped below 19, thats with max ingame graphics (except vegatation:D ) and with 4x anti aliasing and 4x antistropic filtering.
guesse im just lucky :p
