Failed Epic Mission

So I was doing the Tangent Epic mission where you have to go to Catlock Bay and then Blackmist GD then Ind 2. After visiting all these places I went back to TT HQ and as I was walking into the doors ... I failed the mission ...
So I wanna know if it was a bug or maybe I ran out of time.
If anyone knows if we are supposed to be timed on these missions pls tell me..

Hi there!

I think most of the epic missions (apart from those where you have to kill someone from an enemy faction) are timed at 20 ingame hours.
