The newest Neocronicle (http://www.neocron.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=NeoContent&file=index&pageID=160) is out.

"It is awful", the SysAdmin told us. "So much data is lost, I can't believe it. Prototypes of new weapons we have been working on, the new PowerArmor designs... Of course we have backups, but it can take weeks for us to repair everything and uploading them. It looks like we will not be able to meet our deadlines even remotely." The strange thing about this hack attack is that the firewall systems of the mainframe seemed to have went down from the inside. No trojan could be found though. "It is as if the firewalls decided to go down by themselves."Erm.. please say this isnt what I think it is

hehehe have faith callash promised us sunday..TT does have back ups, they not complete mess ups :D long live biotech!..errr so looks like the FA are getting revenge on CA if i not wrong with all the hacking incodents

Not happy that we arnt gettin spy and pe pa still :( but we have to give you a medal or somthing for making that excuse up :D :D lol

I know what happened at TT the hacker walked in looked at people type in there passwords sat down at a terminal and logged in.
What about the guards and TT employs well they did nothing cause they couldn;t tell who he was all they saw was an unmarked PE :lol:

It would be nice if there was some indicator in the Neocronicle that indicated what was storyline fiction verses what was ingame content we could interact with!!!!!!!!!!!
The old Jail :
Is the passageway described in the game currently? Or is this just fiction to build up the storyline?
...then told me with a toothless grin: "Honey, down there, you wouldn't survive 5 minutes alone, and you will need a hacker to open the doors for you, too. The only thing I can tell you is that at one place, you can dive below a wall... yes, dive through the shit!", he laughed to my confused face and continued, "...there is a narrow little course which is heavily filled with tubes and such. Those are the sewerage tubes of the old jail, follow them, and you will find access to the jail... I guess." With an expecting expression, he holds me his hand again, and I quickly put another chip in his palm before I tried to get away quickly. He held my arm though and told me in a quiet voice: "Lots of stuff down there, rats, mutants and whatever else. Please think before you go down there."
I know that one sector of the main sewers - Main Sewer Sector 6 or maybe 8 (can't remember it's been a while since I've been down there) has hack doors in it. to get beyond.
I have never been in that section of the sewers since I cannot hack, so I don't truely know what lies in there.
I do remember a section of OZ8, there near one of the entrances that has sewer water that leads to a grate(lattice) that was impossible to go under, but seemed to lead someplace.
Have they actually connected it??

I thought it was always connected, but you couldn't get from OZ to mainsewer...only mainsewer to OZ....

To my knowledge, the Outzone Main Sewer interactions are:
There is a ladder down in OZ6 that leads to the Main Sewer. You can also take that ladder up to OZ6.
There is a spot in Main Sewer 4 (I think) that is (or at least was) a one way exit to OZ2 near the center.
But I knew of nothing that lead to/from OZ8 to/from the main sewer

-p Yah that sounds about right. Cept when I last tried the ladder to get from OZ6 to the Sewer was bugged (but Sewer to OZ6 still worked). There are also several places that lead from the Main Sewer to the Industrial zones.
If any one hasn't explored down there its pretty fun and I'd recommend doing it. There aren't any special mobs or anything, just muties and rats, but it's still really awesome. Bring a hacker with you and explore all 8 zones.

I thought there was only one spot in IZ that lead to the main sewers. But I could be wrong. It's been a long time since I've been down there.

It is unique. I especially liked the one valve like object that you had to "turn" to open up the door. There were just little things like that that made the sewers fun to explore.

OZ8 wasteland entrace, you can get in there, just dive, but there's bars deeper in front...

Very possible that I am done before sunday, even. If it turns Monday and there is still no PA NPCs to do, feel free to bring out the torches and pitchforks :)

I found one route, but it is blocked off at the moment....... :p
hmm all that hacking stuff reminds me of the manual. mentions rumors of AI's there somewhere.
