well that post only really applies to clan runners. as they're the ones with op bonuses and monks to buff them.

Why? If the settings are right and you are in the same faction as the clan you still get a bonus of +35.
And everyone can buff you, you don't have to be in a clan. Don't tell me on your server all PPUs are unfriendly. :p
