Just curious to find out which operating system is getting the best results for playing Neocron. Obviously PC set up plays a big part but lets forget that for the moment.
So when you choose also post the answers to the following

For me on XP

AMD Athlon 1.6Ghz

i run XP pro
fatals i would say roughly 3-5 a night if i play for about 5 hours
FPS a) 90 b)40 c)60

I'd have to agree with that, same spec PC here, gfx cardis a FX5600 ultra, i get around 50 at OPs and upto 120 in P1. Windows XP pro, I can guarantee a fatal though if i use the citycom... or press more than 4 muttons on my mouse at once :rolleyes: :lol:

Windows XP.
For router/firewall/proxy Linux, of course.
/EDIT: Err.. forgot about the questions. :p
1) Fatals a week.. uhm.. 50? (i don't empty mobs anymore, i always fatal when i take out the whole loot of a mob.. o_O )
2) FPS: App 60, Plaza 30, Wastes 30-150 (dunno why so high sometimes)
3) CPU: P4 2,67 GHz

APT FPS = 60
Plaza FPS = 30
Waists = 30 Normal, 12 in OP fights.

I use XP Pro.
I was on for about 9 hours the other night and I only fataled once.:D <= that was not a normal night, though.
1. 2 to 3 per night
2. a) 100 to 110 b) 50 to 60 (30 to 40 if it's very busy) c) 40 to 60
3. XP 2800+ Barton (running at 2.23 GHz)
I have 1 GB Dual Channel DDR and GF FX5600 256 MB

(except when i transfer Money from Runner to Clan ... that fatals 99%)

Windows XP Pro.
a) Hard to say about those fatals. Damn often though.
b) apt: 90-120, plaza: 30-100, wastes: 20-90.
c) AMD ATHLON XP 2500+ BARTON 1833 MHZ (btw, other components affect the fps too such as memory and graphics. I have KINGSTON 512 MB DDR333 PC-2700 and GeForce FX 5600 128 ddr).

my comp sucks
2k pro, about the same fatal rate as XPpro but without all the stupid bells and whistles, it's just an operating system
soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than 98
I get around 50 fatal Runtime Errors a week on average
My fps is fine in apts
my fps drops in plaza 1
my fps drops with vegetation in the wastelands.
I dont know what the fps command is
I use Windows XP Home
2.0 GHz processor
512 MB DDR ram 333 MHz
128 MB nVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200 vid card
512 mb cache memory (northwood supported)
a) Fatals: I generally play 6pm - 2am (sometimes later) - Generally no fatals unless I withdraw money from a citycom.
b) Apt FPS: 75 / Plaza FPS: 60-75 / OpWar FPS: 50-60
c) System Specs:
AthlonXP 2500+ (210MHz FSB)
1024Mb DDR-RAM (PC3600) (Running at 210Mhz (420Mhz Effective))
Asus A7N8X Deluxe v2.0
Onboard Soundstorm Audio
ATi Radeon 9700 Pro (Overclocked, cant remember specifics)

i fatal about 10 times a week, but they are clustered on certain days and other where i get none

if i can log on without problems i get about 2 or 3 fatals a night, but some days are worse than others. i also seem to get a fatal every time i exit the game, dosent really bother me considering im exiting, but it happens almost every time.

Anyway, my avg fps are around 30 - 40 during fighting....avg in Anywhere BAR p1 around 60
Didnt read thread starters post.... About 1000 per week....it seems like that much anyway, probably about anywhere in between 50 - 150 per week...i loose count..
In apt/ ~60.....in plaza/ ~30....in wastes/ ~ 10 - 60....it depends if an OP is in my screen:mad:
I use win2k, wouldn't touch winow XP with gloves on, and theres is no reason whatsoever to use it.. I wish I could get the nc to run smooth in linux and wine/winex, but Im to lazy to do the uber tweaking.
got a athlon 1400, gf4 4600 512 ram on me gaming winowhellmachine
As for lockups and so on.. I guess I get them about as much as everyone else.. If I would get nc to run under Linux I doubt it would help the nc craches.. maby but doubtful.

Fatals about maybe 1 or 2 a week tho there are Blips.
Erm I run Win 98 which is still by far the most stable Operating system Microsoft of Borg have ever produced....:D

62/62/62 (big OP battles will go to 55)
AMD 1700 running at 2.2 GIG (200x11)
Nividea 4200 at a little over 4600 speeds
512 megs PC 3200 around PC 4000 speeds
onboard sound (NF7-S)

I've tried does not help it actually increased for me. Imagine that! And yes alot of tweeking.
