How often do you venturewarp?

Just curious if people actually use this thing. I personally do use it, but only occasionally and when i'm very bored.

I never understood the point of getting thrown randomly in the WL and paying 2K when I get GR out of my app to a certain place for only 1K. :confused:

i've gazed at it a LOT when i was a noob.... never had the guts to use it (o wait... they weren't activated then).

But still. It's an extra dimension for new players. So dont remove them!!! (I had a feeling about where this thread was going :D)

I have all the GRs tagged so there was never really a need.

I use it more than Genreps sense i dont get OP GRs.. i usually end up close to where i am going anyways :\

well i just used the Venture warp for the first time 20 minutes ago :D :D ended up in C_10 but i wanted to get to TG so it was ok i suppose but it was my first ever time using it, lol so i choose the bottom thing in poll

VW's are great.. I use them all the time when I got a new char and want to tag some GR's, just 2K and you can end up within spitting of TG, MB, TH or DoY which is realy quite usefull since the GR lockdown..

I use Venture Warp quite often when I'm trying to get new char's out and tag some Gr's. Usually I have pretty good luck, occasioanlly I get put somewhere DOA. My luckiest time was I was trying to get to TG and Venture warp put me at CRP. I tagged the GR and headed towards catlock bay, ran into a Chaser and died, the next day I used ventrue warp again and I landed right on the backpack from the night before. The chaser was gone and I made it to TG. So my GR list says

Apartment
Typherral Memorial
Canyon Reloading Point
Twilight Guardian

and he was a 0/2

But it usually takes about 4 or 5 tries to get to the place I want.

you dont get s.i. when you venture warp... i did it twice, once to try it, and once on my spy on my way to mb, i died, so i was desperate, anything was closer than typhera memorial, i was close to where my friend and his car were, sadly though i was also close to about 5 DoY bots back when they kos'ed everybody, i had to pop in milky ren's and walk at the speed of a slow baby's crawl over dunes to avoid the finishing missle... you can read the story (with a touch more humor) in the rpg forum, pluto, NERD, its the freelance issue.

But i have been quite temped to use it lately with the crap GR lockdown.

Nah never use it.

Its funny, back then the non activated VW was on everyones top list of complaints. Saying things like "OMG i am playing Beta the venture warp doesnt even work," among other things.

Now every one is like "cool! it works..........................*cough*"

Ive landed inside MC5 several times now :) Just yesterday I had to get som genreps on uranus so I used it and first went to jankins lab, tagged mb and then used it again and landed on the stands at the desert racetrack :) Tagged tezla/cycrow

I recomend it for level 20sh/30sh who are just going out to the big bad world....

I wantd to get MB tagged, VW and wham in the water in k1, so that was lucky....

Not so lucky....Needed el farid, and wham 1 sector up from the Scorp Kingdom, WHy not so lucky, well if you wonder around up there as a CA friendly clan, the DOY Bots don't like you, so yes landed great...looked at map...cool, turned to see 2 DOY shooting me dead, no cool.

But I always recomend it. From landing point you can always tag 2-3GR's...For for noob its cool

Remember when I had a noob lvl APU on Pluto and tried to get to MB and hey 1½ zones away YAY!!!

The bad part was a WB killed me @ the entrance to MB so I had to try it again :(

I've used VW 4 times on retail...
3 times, it dropped in front of DoY bots..
the 4th time it dropped me in a zone filled with Y reps, managed to live that last time, tho...
