View Full Version : Resist-Skill helping tool
I've made an small Excell-sheet to calculate Armor and Resists.
Maybe you will find it useful ...
NC-Resi.xls (http://www.jg.dodv.de/temp/NC-Resi.xls)
I love it, although I already worked out a realy nice onc set up yesterday (day b4 I saw this) if I had known about this b4, I woulda loved it, still very usefull

Good work and all, but are the formulas used to calulate the total armour reliable? Are they based on <a href="http://neocron.ems.ru/resist">this?</a>, or what.
Just wondering.
//edit oh ffs what am i doing wrong?
ur useing HTML tags not [ bracket tags
{URL=name}the addy here{/URL}
use [ ] not { }

I think they are based on this (http://neocron.ems.ru/resist) , yes.
Don't know what you are doing wrong. :p

dammit....I just used your kewl Excel program and it told me that I have been wasting 15 STR skillpoint...29 if you calculate Resist Booster 2
29 SKILLPOINTS!!!!!!!!!!
That could've been in transport this whole freakin time and I'd be able to carry more than 80 rounds of ammo....Man doesn't it just suck when you realize you've been wasting away skillpoints?
calculations are based on neocron.ems.ru (http://neocron.ems.ru) and infos from GMs of variuos Posts in this Forum.
(i.e. Skills Guide (http://neocron.jafc.de/showthread.php?s=&threadid=69477) )
/edit: i know the values are NOT 100% exact because no one knows for sure how armor and resists in NC are calculated. But it will help a lot to skill resists according to your favorite Armor.
(or chosing the right armor for your resists - whatever you prefer :-) )

Just so you know...I use Excel 2K and it's not working right for me. The dropdowns are not filling from the correct places...all filling from the C6..C11 range for the bones. I haven't tried the others yet. This at work on a Win2K pc. Will try at home on my Win98 next.
Ok, tried at home and it worked. It must have something to do with macros since I have to keep them disabled at work due to viruses.
anywhere to get a freeware prog that can run this file from?
