I actually had an exceptional day yesterday - lots of dooms with 2 and 3 tech parts apiece.
Still Chasers and Peresecuters don't drop tech for me.

damn it arc get a better computer... Whats your FPS like at those settings? Ive found no noticable difference in FPS at minimum resolution and minimum settings when compared to maxe res and max settings, surely you can run NC better than it looking like a 2 year old renderd it using MSPaint 8|

i find spies get the best deal outta the kamis... tanks are "OK" as the aim cap on CS will help...
i think monks get the shitty end; at cap u can get KAMI-like stats and performance but with none of the gimpage... (and for a solo apu that 30 int neg is gonna hurt...)
solo hunting thats why i liked my hybrid i could stay out for hours just on my own without having to worry about healing or hiding or dying etc

3 chasers - 0 techs
4 grims - 0 techs
5 terror's - 1 tech
4 doom reapers - 0 techs.

Damn those Doomies and the way they drop more parts than their rank leads you to believe! I bet they, the Doomies that is, dupe the rare parts. Thats why there's always sooo many PoT parts in there :lol:
(Just so you know, the parts I do find are usually of some worth. ie CS, Moon Striker etc)

I've always thought it was the best. The reason I don't farm mobs much is because of all the shitty parts I get. That's why I hate it, it isn't the actual drop rape.
hmmm...might be missing something...but the -30 int on the monk chips the only reason that hurts is that cant wear heavy belt....can u at least wear medium belts

However, what about this - keep the drop rate and remove useless parts.. i'd day this would be the best solution.

I don't remember complaining about the drop rate.
That solution would be fine, also making ALL gun rares have at least ONE slot.
Since unlike spells guns NEEEEEEEED ammo mod, at least for PvP.
And uhhh Joran, the problem with the kami chip IMO is burst energy weapons.

i start thinking loot rate is altered by camping rate. I hunted wbs in NS and got no part, switch to a zone where i never hunted before and got 18 techs in about 20 - 25 wbs. May be luck though :D
i was hunting around crp and i got 6 techs in about 30-45 min, takes me longer to kill shit as a PPU tho. =\

useing TG guards and spawning a SC and useing holy para bolt u can kill over 10 an hour easy. as a ppu

kami chips are mid lvl chips as i said before it was released and others have proved it when it was released.
i do the same damage as you without a kamichip but with better resists and only 40 less psi pool than you, so why gimp it?
40 mana = 1 shot of fire apoc...so you do 1 more shot of fa more than me so...again why gimp it?
but im glad you *finally* realise solo hunting is the most fun and profitable. The reason why i liked my hybrid so much.

I think it has something to do with the rank... If you hop on a rhino with a HW tank (about that rank) you will get the same kind of drop rate..

i used to get alot of techs solo my apu.. but aftert eh gr cahnges i cant hunt on my good spots.. unless i got a damn ppu on my arse

I agree about the agility cut not being so bad. I can still drive a chaincraft around with 37 vehicle, and recycle my own boosters and have over 80+ agility even with the PA on.

My Saturn monk is getting a part from every 3 WBs he kills, it only takes a minute to kill them too. Its attack rank related because the higher in rank the less parts they drop, I've seen it happen as my monk has moved up ranks.
Going fire mob hunting for a change tonight, WBs r getting depressing and I might bump into a Kami while I'm at it :)
