Car Numberplates ^^

So there I jsut was sitting outside having a quick ciggy outside in the carpark looking at a sweet '98 Subaru Impreza, u know, body kit... Metallic Blue, Bronze wheels, the works, sweet car :) Then I realised he had the BEST damn personalised numberplate ive ever seen :D

I once saw a pink BMW 7 series in Luton with the plate T0SS3R 8| I got a pic of it somewhere but havent got s bloody scanner :(

In the US we have "theme plates"; animal lovers can get a plate with a pic of a dog and cat; firefighters can get the firefighter symbol, etc. Horse Enthusiasts get a pic of a big horse head. On one of these horse license plates, the tag was:
HNGLKA

We also have Fight Terrorism plates, one which comes with the letters "ft" prepended to the tag number.. I saw this:

You´re really lucky. Im Germany you can´t choose your numberplate that free. It is always like:

B - XY 1234

so it is B for Berlin or the city you live in, so you are always stuck with this. I am stuck with a "ME" at the beginning. You can choose the rest as you like, as long as it is not used yet.

I always wanted ME - HR 6

Mehr means "more"...you can guess the rest :D

The system in austria is similar to the germany one mentioned before. But we can additionaly choose our own "number" (altho quite restricted).
Things like "l33t h4x0r" are not possible here.. :mad:

(the number on my motorbike is "DEAD 1".. i think i like this one even more. :p )

/EDIT: @Hazard01 - you can't choose your own number in germany, can you?
