LE chip and Genreps

I thought that the LE chip allowed you to GR anywhere. I was planning to level with a friends PPU and we both put in LEs since we assumed that all GRs would be open to us that way (sacrificed our clan ranks in the process) however it seems not to work. Is there some trick to making it work or does KK think that LE blokes are gonna own clan outposts?

The code was included to stop LE/Non-clanned runners from using the GRs.

wouldnt putting an LE in to GR somwhere you normaly couldnt with out it be exploiting.....?o_O

They are faster if you make artifact ones, not much faster though. But remember for those 8 minutes they can't be attacked while they buff up.
