Since the last few weeks, I have been following the mmorpg Face of Mankind. It's not even in beta yet, but what we see so far looks amazing. I won't go into details here.


I joined the community in februari 2001, got in beta together with the other first 200 players, and played ever since.
Neocron has been a great game, but I haven't played in months now. I already left as a player, now it's time to leave as moderator also.

Nid will take over as lead moderator now. He already had the title, now he has the authority. :)

I want to thank everyone for the great time I had in the community.

the community, even though most of you people always whined and bitched, I still enjoyed being here. ;)


And, if Joerg should read this, you did a nice job on Neocron and I wish you the best of luck with the game. However, try work on your relationship with your volunteers, and reply to their emails and pm's instead of ingoring them. That would make a big difference for these people.

The game is heavily rp orientated... so yuo around killing peeps the police will Jack yo ass.

I've had to put the GMing on the backburner as Real Life has gotten frantic Workwise (I work for an architectural/urban renewal practice in reality). Lots of big projects coupled with 2 sudden departures = controlled pandamonium to meet deadlines until we get some more staff in, and up and running. No ETA on a personal return, but hopefully before the new year. I'm keeping an eye on the boards as and when though.

I mean, I never really thought about FoMK until this thread. I had heard of it, of course, but I hadn't signed up for beta or registered on their forums until I read this thread.

However, I am not going to leave Neocron because of the promises of a potentially decent game, no matter how good it sounds or it's screen shots look.

IMO NC>ALL, and will for quite awhile.
