Ok, here's the basic problem:
after installing everything correctly, and patching up to 189, I am able to load nc launcher and client.exe just fine.
However, in the client itself, I am unable to find and connect to the NC server. You know, when you type your acct name and pass. It's as if I'm not connected to the internet, basically. Half the time it gives me no error (red letters) message, other half it just says "Not connected" in red.
I moved to college, where I know, they have some sort of firewall that protects against something... For example, Kazaa is unusable here.
You may say it's because it doesn't allow connection (or direct connection) to servers. Well, I don't think so. Because if you ever tried playing Wolfenstein:enemy territory, I can play online JUST FINE. And that requires connecting to a specific IP...
Any ideas?
