Files missing... PLEASE HELP

Installed the latest patch on Thursday and when I launch the game it gives me an error message that I am missing three language .ini files. It recommends that I use the check files option in the Update Launcher.

Soooo, once I check the files and it says that everything is fine, I restart NC.

Guess what? The three files are still missing!

So I spent most of yesterday uninstalling and reinstalling NC. Even dl'ed the patches all over again just to make sure.

Nada. Still doesn't work. Have sent a mail to Help but got nothing in return yet.

Has anyone had any problems like this either on this patch or earlier ones?

If so, how did you rectify it please?

language/fra/language/eng/help.ini
language/fra/language/eng/itemdesc.ini
language/fra/language/eng/text.ini

i got
pak_help.ini
pak_itemdesc.ini
pak_text.ini

Before anyone says anything, I know i'm double posting but my lat post in this thread was six hours ago.

Can someone tell me the usual amount of time someone has to wait for a response from the helpdesk email addy please?

I put an email through on Thursday and still have not had a response yet. I checked the email address I sent to and it was correct.

it's looking like I won't get any hot NC action this weekend! :mad:

that sucks highrise, usually the helpdesk responds pretty quick.

one question, have you checked the folders they are suposed to be in to see if they are there??

Yeah, the files are there where they are supposed to be.

i wouldn't mind but I can't speak French and so don't really care if the files are there or not. :)

However, NC has other ideas... O_o
