View Full Version : Almost all useable objects textures missing...?

Well, a nice start for my Neocron-addiction (I bought Neocron today). Anyway, almost all usable objects and at least terrain around ... err... MC5 was the place, I think - there was also a 4x4 Rhino chaincraft which had also missing textures - if cursor wouldn't have gone over it, I would've never have noticed it anyway have their textures missing. Dunno why.

The following screenshots should clarify things up a bit:

I was amazed to find out that GenRep had its textures... :)

I've tested changing graphics options (texture and object details) to high/low/medium and it's still the same.

My computer is celeron 600MHz, 512MB RAM, Geforce 256 DDR, well, it's quite old but Neocron (barely) runs on it... or so I hope, I'm yet to find out how much slower this is compared to beta ;)

Good old Neocron beta worked very well... but that's long time ago. Maybe this has something to do with recent patches?

Drivers are NVIDIA detonators ver 45.33 (I'm going to start testing other drivers when I think I've had enough of missing textures, but right now I'm too lazy to do THAT ;)

So, if anyone has any idea how to work around this, I'd be delighted to know. And if this has something to do with recent patches or something, well, at least someone reported missing textures :)

Turn on fog emulation tables in your drivers :) I guarantee that that will fix it.

(it might be turning it off, I cant remember, but I do know that when polarity flicked that option it caused exactly the same problems)
