Hmm... I remember some decent website for flash games can't remember the name of it now...it's was like coffee shop or something......I think it was posted here once or twice a really long time ago.

I haven't been there for over a year and a half so I don't remember the name....heh.
Why don't you try FreeSpace2 off the underdogs website?
It's a great game, the only thing the UD Stuff misses is hi-res textures/voice/video... has all the game play, heh.

Or possibly try to find a copy of Master of Orion 1, 2 or 3.
They're cute games too.
