Just a quick apology to anyone who has been trying to contact me - We have been without electricity since the Hurricane/Tropical Storm hit Central Pennsylvania thursday night/friday morning. My neighbors one rotten tree fell over and took down our poll and power lines. It was just restored after midnight last night.

If you've been trying to reach me - I'll email you as soon as possible and I am sincerely sorry for any inconvenience.

OnT: is the hurricane still about, and why do they always name them after women? because they are a pain to control and are always blowing angry wind at you?

They aren't always named after women. They are named sequentially from a predetermined list.

Hurricane ANDREW is only one example of a "male" hurricane.
There are many others but I can't be bothered to look them up. Sorry to spoil to "women are violent and full of air" theme.:lol:

I didn't know about the predetermined name thing, but a quick google turned up this page (http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/aboutnames.shtml). Aparently it did used to be all female names until 1979, now it alternates between male and female.

Oh, and wb Danae! :)

well I didn't want to say that, was trying t0 lighten the bleeding mood by taking everyone's mind off the fact that people do suffer far worse than power out's in these situations..
