CityAdmin stated, that some sort of Mall might be erected at this place, no date was announced though.
As implied, I'm not expecting anything soon... but could that be the fabled Cybermall? Move over Plaza 1! :D
I'm sure those StockX guys will have more then enough shares in the new venture to lament the loss of their HQ to much... ;)

Really great Neochronicle... I'm really looking forward to the new stuff being put in now that the groundwork has been laid down :D
lready last week, we reported about the behaviour of the Twilight Guardian and the attempts of the CityAdmin to arrest the rebels. During this week, there have been small encounters of both factions again and again but in spite of all CityAdmins efforts, the main force of the rebels couldn't be caught.
An offical announment on the part of the City Administration hasn't been released but some questions were answered to me anyway:
Sandra: "We have often heard of reports from the Wastelands that the operation-bases cannot be held permanently. How can you explain this?"
CA: "Well, its the well known Warbot-and-Rat game. The rebels have used tactical measures which we call "Terror-Hacking". The Wastes are huge and we cannot be everwhere at the same time but have to march out if an attack on the security-system of a base is notified. But of course, in the majority of cases there are no rebels in the the sector anymore when we arrived there."
Sandra: "Why isn't every base seized by squads to prevent in the run-up to such aktivities?"
CA: "On the one site it's too risky to have small groups in a base because we only endanger only our squads unnecessarily. When the rebels notice that inferior troops are in the bases they attack with a superiority and annihilate the small troops completely. On the other site our main forces are weakened if we seize all bases by troops."
Sandra:"Why don't you practice the same tactical operations like the rebels have done?"
CA: "We have no orders like this."

I'm very disappointed they're redoing the NC Bank. I gave rather good ideas for making Stock-X stores and the NC Bank to be more involving to the players ( Read the second Idea Nova in my sig for details)
I'd much rather that they make another Via Rosso zone, only accessible from the sea side promenade... Having the Mall shops all around the side, with loads of benches and plants and even a pond with a fountain (that's easily done - look at the Viper King Chamber). That'd be much better overall, in my opinion.
Odd that plasma-wielding mutants would take down a high-level Tangent team... unless all 40 of them camped the zone border into Regants :rolleyes: :p
A casino wouldn't be allowed inside the city, mrdares, so get that idea out of your head.

I suspect that some runner's have been aiding the mutant's maybe by building more weapons, or buying weapons for them..
maybe they got into the regent's stockpile's, heaven's know's the locks on them are old and any 10 year old with a hacktoll can open them...
Might be that the mutant's had some tactical planning support, maybe a brain mutant.....
I'd like to see a mall that's multi story, like shope's around the edges and lift's in the middle, with ways to VR at higher level's and maybe a subway link.. hell the old rail lines hook up in that direction..

Maybe BD is opening up a drug rehab center?

If they are closing down OZ-8, will they move some epic-needed NPC's located in OZ-8 to another location?
Or..they are closing it like OZ 7, never to be seen again!!! :eek:
