Edit Feature: Changed?

I noticed this a couple days ago. I don't know if it's just me but when I edit a post under my sig it normally would say "Last edited by Mankind on xxxx". It no longer does that. Was it changed or is it a random thing?

it was removed, so it didnt say "last edited by blah blah blah"

and now its back, so it does say it...

but you have a small time gap to edit your post before anybody knows its been edited :)

maybe you edited your posts straight away?
or maybe i have no idea at all and i'll just shut up hehe

You can edit your post up to 3 min after the original posting and it won't have that "edited by" at the bottom. AFAIK it still gets added after that time period.
