Ports - lag - help - please

First of all. what port/s dose Neocron use?

Secondly i have a standard 400-800 ping on my 512k ADSL here in the UK (on tiscally windows XP)

anyone got any suggestions?

That ping is stupidly high.

On ADSL I get about 40-60 ms ping, on my 512k ADSL too.. from Plusnet.

You can make NC use just one port for data, and have your firewall/router forward that port.

I think the command in your NC.ini is:

LOCALPORT="[number]"

But I have no problems, so don't really need to setup port forwarding.

I know and its beging to piss me off. cos i cant really do shit with this ping.

lagged really bad today, sofar, dunno if it's my own ISP, or the leased lines they use, or lvl3 from my end (DK, 100Mbit connex), im hoping it'll pass over quickly, at least when they release me new shotgun :D

TCP/IP: 7000, 8020, 8040, 12000 (all remote)

UDP: 6000, 6001 (both local); 5000 - 5016 (all remote)
