Hey im trying to get neocron working on a computer at a university that probably has a firewall, but the problem is that it can't connect at all. I can't play any online games. I was told to use Virtual Private Networking, but after seting that up, it doesn't even find the server. Does anyone have any clue about what I can do to make neocron work? Anyway, i don't want to have to wait forever for the university people to figure it out but im afraid i'll have to. Any help would be cool.

you will need to get the network admins to forward the right ports for you.

I would put away your Virtual Private Networking software... you will just need to edit neocron.ini (in the Neocron directory) and change the PORT value to 80. Your university's firewall should have this open. Good luck.

Yeah i tried typing in a new port after the : in the IP address. Normally it is set to :7000, but i changed it to 80 like someone said earlier, but when i use the launcher it only will use 8040. Is there some better way to change the port?
