If you could plan an event...
...what would it be like?
Id dunno what id have, some kind of OZ fight....Terrorists trying to get into the city or what have you...
dunno what kinda of events id like to see, but id like to see them involve the smaller factions more, like say......... Black Dragon for example:D
They should do another copbot PP drug raid but without god mode on the copbots this time...that was fun.

they should also play up the rivalry between the 2 gangster factions BD and TS
I thought the best place for an event was when they had it in the OZ. Any time they have massive mobs spawns and cool drop items, i consider it a good event. I think a cool event on the RP side of things would to have a massive tech part trade convention. Just like a few hours dedicated to nothing but people getting together and trying to get the parts they need. Announce this in advance so that a lot of people make time to come for this event.
I agree with you guys, they need to do more faction vs faction stuff instead of city vs anticity factions. Would definitely make things a lot more interesting.
i dont think it should go anti city vs city anyway.
Anyways would be cool to have one last big fight between TS and BD to see who stays in PP and who moves.
well it would be nice to see an event that has CM involed in doing another factions killing. afterall isn't that what CMs are all about.

really what does BD care who runs the city or not really? as long as they can continue selling there drugs etc.
but TS being in the same area now thats a reason for BD to fight.
you could get biotech against Tangent, some think like the epic where tangent are making the laser but bio are also doing so, build some sort of epic based on this. that knida a thing.
just having a massive city against anti city wouldnt do(for the lag mainly) but i for one generaly dont allie with my enemys, so makes no sence for me to fight in a massive vent of that sort helping out TG and FA against CA or something when all 3 of them are my enemies(which id like it to stay as thank you;) )
to be honest it should be something representing the war between the city and DOY.
Y's and the voodoo like DOY guards and the jonny 5's fighting Elite storm's, CA guards and some other stuff over say 3 or 4 zone's. Players join in the fights for either pro city or anti city and who ever wins in say zone 1 gets extra NPC reinforcements in the other zones with the wars happening in the guise of a extra spawn of NPC's for their side. That kind of thing would be REALLY cool to participate in 8|

Havent been on venus at all, and ive been banned from forums so havent read anything on here about it really... They done something like that there ? If so then it just proves that its possible :p
infact, i cant see what would be wrong taking venus' ideas?
do they have copyright over the events? i cant see how. they have obviously paid for the privelidge to do what they want with their server. doesnt mean the people they bought the pivelidge from cant look at what theyre doing and take inspiration.
i have infact started to play on venus because of the events, sure i cant speak much french, i dont understand whats going on, but its new stuff, something different happening that gets me interested.
the last one i was at there was doom harbingers all over J_01 being a level 30 tank with no brains i charged in there!!!
i got myself 3 judgement launchers, and i had alot of fun getting blown away in 1 shot lol, thanks to the PPU's that rezzed me :p
im going to start a "Steal Venus' Events" petition hehehehehe

on your high horse again, what would the perfect event _BE_ ?
it may be your perfect event, however what about the people that think along different lines to you and enjoy the different aspects of the game to you ?

One of the SSC Storylines that was half done;
We hit the NC City Bank, basically defended ourselves from invaders coming in for a set amount of time (giving hack timer count downs on global channels).
Eventually we did win out.
The follow up event was going to be running through OZ (exiting out of one of the entrances except OZ Station) then getting the money to TH or TG, or to an op to transmit to said places.
Heh.
Credit to uTs(TG) for supporting SSC in that bank job :p
QuantumDelta lol. i had a idea for a machinima about a TG raid on the StockX. it would of had them coming by sea. scaling the outside and holding the staff as hostage. with a bomb placed in the stockx main room.
also having copbots and special swat stormbots surrounding the outside biotech area.
Would like to see some convoy missions,
Apc rhino with ca escorts moving across the wastes, one guy with the important info, down to the enemies to set and execute a ambush...
EBaring mind all the cities there, and possibly some player STORMS or COPBOTS :p
oooh that reminds me of an event on jupi it was in a loooong time ago.
there was a convoy of CA guys, lots of tanks and apc's and stuff (i think it was CA) we had to kill one guy and retreive his dogtag, was great fun, us being TG, the whole faction was out searching, we found them near gab i think, blam blam blam, sniped out a monk, a quick pull back for some re-buffs, searched for the CA droner found him in a nearby building, went on to find a NEXT clan helping CA (nnoooooo, wasnt part of the plot but added a bit of difficulty) i remember taking out a PE then getting cocky and following a spy into a building, got there, lost him, turned around to see the guy we were meant to kill, in the top tank PA *gulp* SPLAT Goes little jinxy :p
so again a good idea LTA,
which leads onto, why not re-use some of the events from jupi? im sure alot of new guys have never done them, and the old guys it will bring back fond memories :D

Hello. I just wanted to share an idea and possible RP event for introducing the DoY gliders into Neocron. In the last MMORPG that I played (Jumpgate), for every new ship or major item that was introduced into the game there was a 'faction mission'. In Jumpgate this consisted of hauling commodities and such to a certain base, and the ship/item would then be producable... different premise to that though :)
For NC's purposes I was thinking about this and realized how this could apply to the introduction of the gliders. I know that they're not ready for retail yet, but as soon as they are I think it would be cool to stage an RP event to introduce them to the game:
An all-server report goes out (something to the effect of)..."An unidentified aircraft crashing in $sectorfilledwithYs. It's point of origin was traced to Dome of York and was believed to be performing a reconaissance mission. Spy satellite photos show the aircraft and its pilot(dead) and his quickbelt by his side. Any items in his quickbelt would be key in identifying threats to Neocron and could aid in unlocking the secrets of their technology."
So basically it's an all-server race through Y-Replicant territory to hack a quickbelt and retrieve the contents. Drop those contents off at a Faction HQ (or however it could be worked) and then we can get gliders :)

Everyone knows the famous Hill by cycrow Gr right?
How bout the idea of a PPU and a Class of your choice will form a team of 2 and then, the 1st 2 stand on the top of the hill buffed and ready.. Then after the ready signal another 2 have 2 battle 4 that position.. The 2 tht stay on the hill 4 the longest wins cash or sumfin jsut a thought:)
I got few plans and even ready events but until I am unbanned here, I cannot post em.
how about a nice simple event, :D a BD raid on TS HQ.
Some thing that would go down well, not be too laggy (as not too many people would participate) and be something that the minorites can participate in.
then again how about find the spy :D, a group of warriors ( a GM+ voluntiers from the player base all on TS with the GM) are in NC some where and trying to escape the city they will be trying to access one of the secret exits of NC and head for gravis, fosters or crest uplink to send the info to ( TH, DoY, TG?) you have to intercept them and A) help DEFEND !! or B) kick the 7 shades of *ahem* :lol: out of them
:D jsut an idea (i for one would help with my char and be part of the action)
