Alt+Tabing

I used to be able to do this, but ever since I patched up my windows xp pro, I cant get back in the game, the game comes up, but just a black screen. Any advice anyone?

I yust removed XP pro and put a win 2000pro on the computer, DAAMN the diffrence is huge, ya go like 20 times faster with win 2000 pro then with that stupid heavy,fancy windows XP,

uhm..

Ive got a fully updated Win XP Pro and have no problems. Only alt/tab bug I get is if I alt/tab out the game and keep it minimused for a while like 20 mins or whatever, when I go back I cant right click anything.

Are you sure that when you go back into NC after alt tabbing it's not the synch screen ?

Yea m8, when I switch back to the program its just black. I can hear the sounds, but just black screen :(

Since i got an ATI i can't alt+tab either without gfx errors.
(and yes i have the latest drivers)

What is your desktop resolution and your ingame resoluton, is there any difference ?!? I had trouble having my desktop up really f00king high on the rez but playing neocron at 1024...

I have XP pro and a Radeon 9700pro, I can alt tab just fine, except for some reason the game loses my gamma settings between it, but thats not really a big deal.

I'd check your drivers.

If you have a Nvidia, the latest isn't always the best for your card. I suggest trying each out after the date your card was made.

Ive never had as reliable as system as ive had on 'XP Pro Plus!'

I do sumtimes get the window sorta sticking , or goin black if ive been alt tabbing like hell all over the place , but this is really rare...in fact its usually cause ive selected the wrong thing , so im probably not having that fault at all :D

Fenix i get the right click thing , cant remember if i have to restart neo to get it to work or just relog...

Hey all

Well, I got sick of the problem of not being able to alt-tab and with the new rare tracker to update rares etc its real usefull to be able to....So.....I uninstalled SP1, leaving the hotfixes installed and presto, it works now. If it doesnt work for you u can always re-install it, but instead of messing about with graphics drivers its more down to this....

My system is

Win XP Pro
2400 XP chip
DDR 2700 RAM
Geforce 4 mx400 120mb
Gigabyte mobo
