Stat boosters. Perfect for those of you who have nothing more to buy, or simply want to kick arse at Fight Night. Stat Boosters cost around 50k for each booster, and gives a large bonus to a single combat-orientated stat (IE PPU, H-C). Each booster lasts 5 minutes and doesn't give drugcrash, making them preferable in OP battles and the like.

I'm buying Outzone Storages.

That is my current cash sink. But even at ~1,000,000nc a storage, I make the cash up between buys.

BTW, I am still looking for two more, if someone wants some quick cash.

Maybe the option to buy some sort of custom title below your clan/faction name. Rent on it could be something like 50k per day, whether you're logged in or not.

Making vehicles dex/int based then adding various ones maybe would sink a bit?

More leveled apts

Level 6 via Penthouse 2 million?

Clothes?
Rp items?
Plots of land?
Other methods of travel (like glider flights to mb auto?)

Uber tool ranges?
Shop spaces or stalls? (make a market type place)
Stock ops?

Maybe things like drug/weapon parts/armour vhc batches ie buying large amounts of it straight from the suppliers and running their own crytons?

If all the ncpd etc was more playerish also could do bribing drug smuggling etc.

With the dynamic op signs on the test server how about dynamic adverts in plaza which cost a fair bit say per hour but advertise your service clearly?

I'm just shit at getting money... I have never been over 850K on any of my characters.

My main char on saturn is still using her starter appartment. :p

I will be sad to move out of that place once I get shunted out of NC when DoY comes :(

But some - and really not too few - people out there have more then enough credits running usually into storage problem with their cash. Now the credits are worth something, but if this situation continues, we might end with something close to a certain time in Beta 4 where money wasnt an issue: Neocron was just unplayable then, as there was no reason at all to do any kind of tradeskill or hunting.

But money sinks needs to be a) optional b) should not influence "the balance" (TM) like the booster idea.

There are already some nice ideas in the brainport about possible money sinks, I think the newest one was about buying appartments in specified locations for much more cash.

Good things are stuff that is good for roleplay, but not important, like:

- placeable objects
- a variety of large expensive appartments
- paintings for your app, that are really expensive.
- even customized paintings, but that would need an implementation of a p2p system for neocron :)
- or statues :)
- gambling machines
- a lotterie
- hire guards for your appartments
- what about a music box?
- big TVs
- entrance fees for chilling zones
- buying titles :) (id like to be a sir or duke)
- a drycleaner for the many blood stains
- fishing permits
- fishing rods :D

I probably find more, if I give it a little thought.

interesting idea, benjie, but awful implementation.

I'd prefer it if the idea was scaled back... Rent-a-cab services in Pepper Park, anyone? 20k gets you the use of 1 cab for a NC month... if you don't pay the rent on time, the cab's contents will be emptied out into the floor or street...

I think Pepper Park 2 has the appropriate setting for it in those purple-lighted apt blocks... To make the modification simple, make it so the Rent-Storage area is in one of the apt lifts, a la ConstClub... you enter "RentStorage" in the lift, you sync there, then you can talk to a NPC about storage and such...
