Monks and PE Questions

ok 2 questions, I have heard that there is a optimum value for apu and psi use on an apu monk can anyone share this with me plz :)

also what amount of psi use is required/recommended for a PE for the dmg boost ?????

psi use effects rof / range but is not the only skill to effect it afaik .. so you'll do more dmg per sec/ minute from further .. with more ;)

For a monk - the more the better.

Damage 0.65(A/P)PU + 0.35PPW - 0.3(P/A)PU
Frequency 0.4(A/P)PU + 0.4PSU
Ramge 0.4(A/P)PU + 0.4PSU

PSU affects both Frequency and Range.

Once you can cap your Freq and Rng, or at least get them to where you are comfortable with them, on your highest level spells, then you don't need to add more PSU.

for my monk i have 172 psi use :)

but was on about my pe for that :) its my 1st PE you see lol

and dmg boost is slow as crap to cast lol

to used to hybrids/ppus hehe

Rifles PEs can't have any psu really, pistollers can do along will a tradeskill eg poke/hack.
My PE has 111 poke, 45 psu and 73 lore. If I went to 80 poke (like many people) then I'd say I'd go for around 70-80.

My PE has 78 PSU.
100 WEP.
80 IMP.
After implants, of course.

Pistol PE, don't try that on a rifler. :p
...The reason why I have as low as WEP as that, is because it would barely benefit me anymore (if it did, I'd have more wep, but wep is pointless for me... sigh), gimme a reason to lom imp ;)

In my monk I used to have 214 psu, now 207 iirc (and you never have enought).

In my pistol PE I have... 52? psu, about 30 wep lore, and 115 poke.. after imps of course.

The values of apu in a monk are very subjective; my best advice is to experiment with ppw and apu.. there are some sweet combinations of high damage and high (very high) mana.. you only need to worry about the RoF, which must be capped for an optimal use.
