Neocron's netcode is pretty tight, the difference in ping from V90 to ADSL is about from 80-90 to about 170-180 in a full plaza 1. Its also a MMORPG, not a FPS, so the emphasis should be on the RPG side, though some ass's think its just a shootemup wiv stat's

the only reason i ask is that im getting fed up with the lag.

and it's not just the lag we've been expeariencing recently.

i just don't understand why we get so much lag.

eg.
bf1942 with 32 players.
lag, more than tollerable. then someone with a dial up connects
and the lag increases.

that was my train of thought anyway

My ping to the server is about 45. In game that translates to about 80-90 ping, depending on where I am, it has nothing to do with dial up user's at all.
