View Full Version : Ive amazed myself, I think Ive reached a new level
So, I was pking at TH today on saturn. I got bored, cause I enganged these 2 punks, one pe with a pain easer and one with a lib, and every time id almost beat one, they would zone, then the other would fight me, get almost dead, zone, then the other one healed would come.... fought em both off, got tired of their BS and went to leave. Exited TH, crashed. logged back in in the middle of F07 somewhere. take a minute to answer a direct, and who do i see? a group of 3 FA, a tank with CS, and the PE's with lib and pain easer. The tank sees me like 2 seconds after 1 spot them. I think well, im dead... 3 vs 1 in the field... but im taking at least one with me... so I charge. I cast DB on tank... fizzels as a cs burst hits me. "
god damn spell... now im fucked" I think. But i foguth on, and using dodging and healing, was able to kill the tank. Now the 2 pes remained, and though i was dodgeing and run healing well, my hp was really getting down. I took out the lib pe, but was really hurt in the process, crippled for a few seconds. I heal and dodge, and then engage the pain easer PE (they have all been shooting me, and i now deflector and shelter have gone down.) And amazingly, I get the pain easer PE down to nothing. The little slimebag (god forbid he has any honor and dies like he deserves to) stealthes and leaves his dead freinds.
THe 2 monks came... apu and good old ppu, (i hate ppus too, shadow dancer is right the are the bane of pvp) and of couse, i die.
But, I beat 3 capped rare using people all at the same time. I couldnt belive it. And they werent that bad either... i was getting hit and hit, but my resists are so amazing i lived. I just couldnt belive how one person can beat THREE people all at the same time!
I also relaized, that if i had stealth, i would have stealthed and run prpably... i mean who would fight 3vs1? but not having this, I had to stay and right like a cornered rabid dog, and because im forced to fight instead of flee, i think im becomming even better.
I belived a few days ago, and many times before that, that i had reached the peak, i could never make a better PE then I already have. But I just keep finding a way to be better. I couldnt belive it myself. Thats what keeps me in NC, the character building. No matter how good you think you char is, it can ALWAYS get better... somehow. People who keep getting bored after 1 month of playing a char will never achieve this. But to thoes of us who stick to their fav char, NC has an awesome character system, and you can always become better, its awesome.

Anyways i amaze myself to sometimes. Problem is I wish I was at my "peak" all the time. Sometimes I fight flawlessly in op wars and am the bane of the enemy's ppus, other times I screw up and die in 5 seconds. :rolleyes:
But yea you're right, if you stick to 1 char, you just keep getting better.
Well, tbh, who care's? Resists, drugs blah blah, overspec ppu *yawn*. Ohh, cookie.
Congrats - takes some skill to beat 2 people, and 3 is just coolage.

But honestly, i have this new armor setup many would consider insane....(no hints, but trust me a lot of people would think "wtf is with that?" but it owns) its a little better then my old setup.

As for the 3v1, I've won deals like that once or twice, it's rare, but, oddly enough, I do better against a couple of opponents than just one..
Enemies Raiding TH;
I was there, alone, five tanks and a PPU (PPU was neutral but rezzing, which led to my death...)
Killed tank 1 before he really even drew his CS.
Killed tank 2 on the deck between the grav lifts.
Killed tank 3 in the core (zoned to heal a tiny bit).
Killed tank 4 as he came down into the core.
Tank 1 and 5 zoned into the core and finished me off -_-
All CS Tanks.
tank 2, 3 and 4 were PA2, tank 1 was no PA (leeteh) tank 5 was PA 1.

I killed Elk 2on1 when he was the 1. That's it. That's my whole PvP career so far. I was surprised when I got "You lost soullight with your enemy" thing. Only other times I fought - was in OP wars, and I don't think I made much difference TBH.

Well actually i only had 1 yet...but it earned me a lot of respect ;)
Just joined my first clan on Uranus, my pe was new and weak, the only skill i had capped was psi i think. Well but hey i just had my new and shiny 1 slot Blacksun built (*cough*) so i thought, hey the clans gonna get an op, im gonna go too just for fun. I didnt have any genreps near there, so when i finally arrived in the op zone, we already lost the first attack. 2 pes try to spy whos still in the OP and one got killed by some evil CS tankthe other had to stealth and run, so me being totally alone and nearly at the op, no stealth yet and no (NONE) PE pvp experience, i turn around and run away. Suddenly i get struck by an electroshocker, turn around and theres that tank. Pointing his cs at me. My heart nearly stops, i pull out my crap gun and attack. I was like totally freaking out and 1 minute later that evil blue pa cs tank was dead in the dirt. :p
Man i was totally wasted. My heart was racing like hell, i was shaking from all that adrenaline and spamming the clan chat with "omg omg omg i won wtf loolol!!!ononeone" :D
Five minutes later i killed another tank and some spy *cough*
Man that day was so damn great!
No i am not a TV. GRR! I just have very pretty long blonde hair.

lol, I had a whole stint of op fights I never died...
then we fought regs, I killed the two ppus both times, and died the first time...then.....it just went down hill (I got out performed by a droner)-_-
Well, Vet is one of the best PE's which I have dueled; I'm glad he moved to Saturn.
Still need to duel Fawkes again... and Zoneseek if I catch him online any day.

okies story time:
(more survival than carnage)
was taking ops with 5 people; me on my spy; another hacker, a non-capped ppu, a non-capped apu, and a tank.
did my hack; was running around the op; when i see a PA2 tank run at meh... i was like sheeet and prepared to fight to the bitter end; screamed out a msg over team "(insert faction here) AT OP!" and run with FL out to gun; get a help from apu and we down the tank (weee for the 2 most underdefended characters in the game!). we stand around and next thing we know something was AOEing us from the door and we die. I log my apu to go back and ask first if anyone is there... no response... oh hell i like to kill shit; might as well go alone...
i gr to ug; come out: nothing... run to the entrance: 2 ppus, 3 apus (1 capped 2 uncapped), 1 PE, 2 tanks; they standing at the entrance... i think... CHARGE!!!! ran towards them.. only to have forgotten my fire apoc... shitters... HL a few of them; they all buffed (bad for me)... and i circle dance...
at this point hte opposition just stands there and just looks at me cuz they think i'm nuts: a lone unbuffed apu running at 8 enemies, most of which are capped... o_O
anyway, needless to say i died but i nearly took out 2 of them and survived a whole minute before 8 of them took me out... :D

I've 'griefed', if you will, a sxr. Poison stacked him, he dies in his apt, I follow up, he goes for backpack, I kill him again, leave, come back in 2 mins later as he's leaving and kill him again.

The hilarious thing is pwnage excuse, "all u do is sit in nf" where as lets say if I was... 1/8 th as strong as I am and he could win, he would call me a n00b. and unlike you, who sits and waits till pwnage and whoever your ppu is comes home to play, I pk by myself when i dont have allies online. A lot of people dont like me, but plenty do... But even thoes who dont know im good. Everyone agrees your worthless, in skills and all else.

i've got a few:
once i heard over faction that a bunch of mercs and TTs had just taken over an OP. i ran to another OP owned by my faction nearby, reasoning that they would head there next. while i was looking for a good place to snipe at them, they arrived - all 12 or more of them. they killed me BUT GOOD.
one time i got the message from an OP it was being hacked. i was alone online at the time so i trotted over there on my lonesome. only a spy and a PPU were there, but still - they killed me BUT GOOD.
i went back to the same OP, the PPU had left - only the spy there. and he STILL killed me BUT GOOD. with his FL, but still.
my first time online after monks finally all went pure i met an enemy monk out in the wastes. i thought - fuck it - i have an easer i can drill this guy. he whipped out a fire apoc and proceeded to toast me BUT GOOD.
oh yeah - and once i killed like a couple people at once but they were like noobs - meh.

Well there was this one occassion, when I was surrounded out by the Bunker on the lower level.
There must've been about fifteen tanks, the Clan had me KoS.. So all I had was my TSG, but it was a nice TSG, with a Laserpointer and Flashlight, so I thought, 'Nae bother'..
Charged into 'em, took about ten down, my resists were brutal, taking the CS at about 40dmg per hit.. Then three APU's came into the fray and tried to frazzle me, but thankfully I managed to take cover at the bottom of the lift shaft, before sneakily coming up around the top and down behind them, killing all three...
Then.. Then.. I woke up with sticky sheets..
Bullshit, isn't it? Enough with the ego's already. :D

Well, recently, I've been doing that business course with Truro College, finished last part of that today (cute chick came in for last bit, so I was happy), was also levelin my monk on Pluto, but got bore, just really havent been playing all that much, and when FFXI comes out, I'll be playing even less :p

oh havent played ff.. since nr seven on psx 1 think i did all the mobs there except one.. hm cant remember which im pretty sure i did the big under water thingy but its ages since i played that game *sigh had to little to do inn the army lol* all i did when i was inn the army was play psx and piss of my sergant lol god i think he still hates me :P

thats not my hair, its a Quiksilver baseball cap, from when I went on a shopping spree, £35 on a cap and a wallet heh, that was just in one shop :(
FFXI is by SquareSoft-Enix, who brought you the Final Fantasy series, unfortunatly, they also made Final Fantasy, the spirits within movie, which lost them a fortune, even though visually it was stunning (individual hair movement) Currently in 3 CD Beta, FFXI will be on the Playstation 2 (via Broadband and PS2 Network, the PS2 40GB HDD will be released along with the FFXI game) or on your PC. You can already tell the class quality, the japanese website has live ingame screenshots of area's of the game, visually it will be second to none (they have a habit of pushing the system to the limits, then going well past it), and if the gameplay is anything like FFVII, then it will be "the best thing evar ©"
/edit - I killed the underwater one. Knights of the Round for 13x9999 with mime on both other char's for 39*9999 dmg on the underwater one. Hardest was Ruby.
/edit 2 - Triple Knights of Round, or double, think triple, for (39*3)*9999
