Since my Construction Char is only used for just that tradeskill and nothing else, I decided to see what else I could do with him without hurting his Tradeskills.

Using the new Gloves & X-Ray bones that are heading to Retail and Implants currently in game. I figured out that with 2 very similar setups I could get him to..

CST @ 240 (290 with Fact) In Trade Setup with CST Boost 1 / 195 (245 with Fact) in Combat setup

REP @ 108 (upto TL 216). In both setups

Drive all the Vehicles in the game including all the Gliders when they hit retail (Even the VHC 100 Troop Carrier one). In both setups

Gun the HH Combat Wheeler V.2, Scorpion Trike, Heavy Assault Scorpion Trike. In Combat Setup

Gun & Drive the Heavy Assault Scorpion Trike, ER Assault Bike, ER Combat Chaincraft V.1, ER Combat Hovertec V.1. In Combat setup.

Use all LowTech Heavy Weapons upto Basic Anti-Vehicle

Use all HighTech Heavy Weapons upto Unlabled Gatlin Cannon.

Recycle all the Recipies currently in game.

Clone all the Ammo/Drugs in game.

Have a half decent Resist Setup.

Now for the Setup part. Figured I'd share it with everyone. The only difference between the two is Swapping out the Construction 2 & 3 chips & the Machina Glove in Trade Setup for a PP Resistor, MOVEON & PSI Gauntlet in Combat Setup.

Thats it.. Sure he may be gimped in some areas resist wise, has no access to any of the Dex Based Weapons and has to rely on Heavy Weapons. Tho I don't give a shit since currently he just stands there and builds stuff and thats it. With this setup I could take him, jump in a Heavy Assault Trike, and go out Hunting if I wanted to. I could take him to hunt Fire mobs using the Trike just by swappin the Energy Belt for a Fire Belt. He can repair so the bike getting damage isn't a problem.

Bored?.. No, just got curious as to just how much variation I could add to my char if I went against grain and tried something not so cookie-cutter like the ever popular Trade-Pistols or Trade-Droner setups while still maintaining his Tradeskill primary function.

well do you like it? I wouldnt like a pure 100 % tradeskiller on pluto :D

I like it, the only bitch is gonna be getting a Hawkings CPU, and the Machina Glove initially. I have pretty much everything else.

The Chips I have to swap out will lose condition everytime, but the CST 2 I can build so it's not a problem, the CST 3 I have about 10 of so it wouldnt really be a problem for quite a while, and the 2 chips I swap them for are Epics so they'd never be a problem.

Currently he's a Droner tho a low level one since he was primarily Melee for most of his life.

Clan wise he can drive every Vehicle so he's got a use there, He's got his Tradeskill usefulness as well, Out of vehicle Combat wise he can be a minor annoyance :p

Then again he's on Saturn where I also have a Droner/Researcher, Rifle Spy, & Pistol PE.
