Lately I been playing Americas Army with kidwithstick. I like to play digitalpaintball mod for CS and planetside also. Very often I play halo on xbox online too. When NC pisses me off enough I go play paintball on the weekend to calm me down :p
Those type of games just give me the rush I need at the time rather then some here and there whitch is what NC does.

Very, VERY confusing at first (Who's that man? Why is he shouting at me? What the hell are all these buttons?! :eek:), but you can pick up on things after a couple of hours play.
The game is quite slow at first as well (But the music chugging away in the background helps calm you down and allievate the stress), but rapidly picks up a few mission objectives in (Like dominoes, knock one over and the rest fall over pretty damn quick).
Makes you feel powerful (In what other game can you call in a hit squad "just because"? :D), and even if you completely cock-up the game still throws a few other things in your direction to entertain you.
Better ask specific questions though, can't be much help otherwise.

Yesterday I decided to revisit XCOM: Apocalypse, but not sure if I'll continue with it (played it to death, just not for a year or so).
And today I downloaded a demo of, what appears (graphically) to be a relatively old game, called Dominions. Turn based strategy kinda thing. If they redid it with slightly better graphics, sounds, etc, I'd likely buy the full thing.
At the moment I only play NC for 10-15 minutes before deciding to play one of the above instead.
Also considering Galactic Civilisations and UFO: Aftermath which both get released here fairly soon.

Not as good as I hoped it was going to be (shocking!:p ), but still pretty absorbing. My only real complaint is the representation of some of the actions. Watching a riot in progress is less fun than watching paint dry, it's a bunch of stick figures pairing off and punching each other. o_O

I recently invented a game where i Rub one out everytime i get a Fatal runtime error in Neocron. That lasted a couple hours of playing due to the pain of doing it so many times.:(
