me thinks neocron is a bit unrealistic in the sense that all its inhabitants are adults : no children, no elderly
its not like there arent any women so breeding shouldn't be that hard.
now the story is there's loads of empty apps after the war and evry new runner gets one for free.
cool, but the storyline in logans run would give it a more intriguing twist.
lets just state that because of wars, diseases etc our cities are the lasts hideouts of mankind and there's shortage of space, so people older then 40 are KOS.

my point is, i wanna see some mobs of elderly/aged citizens we can hunt down. i wanna kill the elderly and disabled for being redundant

With the censorship problems in certain European countries you will have a hard time getting that by.
Fallout 2 had all the kids removed from it's European release because you had the potential to kill kiddies. So somehow I don't think the censors are going to let you run around killing OAPs either...:eek:
Btw Logans Run was kinda cool, well what little of it I can still remmeber a mate of mine's got them all on video so I may watch them again...........:p

There were kids in the UK version of Fallout I played.

Carmageddon was "censored" everywhere (all you had to do was apply an officially endorsed patch to change the colour of the blood IIRC).

The UK and German versions of Neocron are uncensored.

Generally speaking Europe is FAR FAR more lenient on censorship than anywhere else in the world.

To further understand the first quote (and maybe clarify for the second quote):

Owing to a horrendous debacle that took place on the european continent 60 years ago that nearly obliterated most countries off the map and it's subsequent aftermath, some countries (ie: I believe germany has very strong laws regarding this) do not permit the slaughtering of the infantile and elderly in the game. I'm not familiar with all the aspects and I'm not trying to trivialize what happened, but there are laws in place that probably prevented them (or at least appealed to their better sensibilities) from having the game become a geriatric slaughterfest.

P.s. and just because you can buy visibly displayed hardcore porn anywhere or stumble through the streets in a heroin stupor does not necessarily equate to enlightnment.
