I'm lookign for single stick ram 1 gig perferably. But im looking for somthing fast in the 400-500mhz range preferably cl2 ram.

Does anyone have any suggestions as i could not find any corsair xms ram at 1gig for ps3200 ddr 400mhz ram.

1 gig sticks? dunno about that, usually "1 gig ram" is 2 matched 512 sticks.

if anyone can point me to 1 gig sticks i'll be greatful too

doesnt look like crucial has 1 gig sticks for pc3200 though =-/

i think it is because it doesnt exist :lol:

i would think a company would make some, you know, like special order.

or maybe its only avalible for businesses running large servers. who knows?

samsung makes 1 gig pc2700 sticks someone has to make 1 gig pc3200 lol i saw some noname company with 1 gig pc3200 lol

Samsung do make it.
Hard to find though.
Mostly for business only.

You do realise your processor will be out of date before you can run enough to fill 3GB of ram?

Also it has to be reprocessed regularly to keep the charge from dissipating. If you keep that much in memory it will have to keep reprocessing 3GB. After about 1.5GB you will not notice much of a performance gain.
