Hey I need some help on two things real quick..
1. How do I set the FPS cap in game higher (from default 30FPS)
2. What's the commands in Neocron.ini to turn off the intro and the extro with credits.

I'm sure there isn't. I've had more than 30FPS before.

Yes, me too.. but... playing this game for several months now makes me to realize that... EVERYWHERE is a cap in Neocron.

(so why not even a FPS cap? hehe :p )

It could be, likely to be in an .ini file. I've seen peeps get up to about 60+ fps. Not sure why you'd want to cap it tho.

oh ok, it's just that my fps stops RIGHT at 30fps and won't go higher but it stays at 30 just fine

Walk close to a wall and look at it, this should raise the FPS over 30.. if not.. your PC sucks.. or your graphic card.. :p

Typically the cap is actually 90odd....although there is a way of uncapping even that.
Don't ask me though I don't remember

What GFX card can supprt that? Those new Radions (9800?). My gfx performance rocketed when i upgraded from a PIII500 to a P4 2.4. Still only have a GeForce4 MX 440 tho and I get pretty good FPS.

Hey NP, just wondering if it was even possible to get 90FPS out of NC atm. And if so what hardware do you need to do it?

I've heard you will need a CRAY II.

/EDIT: C<>G! o_O

Top spec SGI box might handle it at that speed ;-)

Or big blue ;-)

I get 90FPS sometimes in quiet sectors.

Athlon XP 2800+ (Barton)
GeForce FX 5900Ultra 256MB
1GB 2700DDR

Running custom XP build, heavily stripped down.

Any card can support it, if it can process it fast enough.

I don't know of a single model of graphics card with a cap below 100FPS. It could be done by the NC engine, but I doubt it. Plus I haven't changed my ini or anything, and I'm obviously not capped.

windows XP caps your FPS to the monitor refresh rate.

There was a post on here on how to uncap it.

Turn off v-sync in your graphics cards options. That may be it.

Probably done by the various tweaking software I used when trimming XP.
