I played through this game back in like 1987, loved it. That guy on the cover has a kick-ass energy weapon also :D The main city was almost as big as Neocron, no wasteland though.


Two of my other all time favorites were System Shock 1, and TerraNova.

The spectrum zx48k...........omg the shit i had on that programming in true basic when i was 11 0.o never understood it lol. But there were some real elite games, anyone remeber 'Fast Food'?

Once I programmed an entire Text adventure on the commodore 64 even though I new i couldn't save it to tape. I was about 9 and the code was really basic. It was set in an airport for some reason. the code looked like this.

10 print "You are standing in a passenger lounge. You can hear the planes taking off around you, but the room seems to be very empty. There is a man and a woman sitting next to you. There is a dooway to the north with a desk, but the desk is empty. there is an exit to the south.
15 Input "What would you like to do?"10#
16 if 10$ equalls North then goto 20
17 if 10$ equalls South then goto 30
18 if 10$ equalls talk to man then goto 50
19 if 10$ equalls talk to woman then goto 60
20 print "Just as you approach the door, a woman dressed in a security uniform walks through and takes place behind the desk. The lock on the door seems to automaticly lock.

*edit* I went on to the Shoot Em up construction kit on the ATARI STFM after that, then onto the BUILD engine by Ken Silverman after that. I messsed around in verge II for a while ( www.verge-rpg.com used for making Final Fantasy style SNES RPG's) but I havn't done much recently

Check my other thread. There are new Spy vs Spy, Outrun, Ninja Gaiden, Metal Gear games coming out too. (for ppl who don't know, the Metal Gear title is ancient)
