Since you turned off PMs and disallowed email, I just wanted to let you know that I was very annoyed by one of your comments.



Everyone seems to be just thinking about himself.


Apparently you musta had several people in that thread on ignore, because there were a couple of people there tryign to get the best deal for spies in general and not just thinking about themselves.

Dude Callash is doing a damn fine job. Would you want to allow 100 ppl to PM or email you or spend hours responding to all the bitchin that ppl are doing about the Spy PAs? I know I wouldn't.

I think its awesome that he gave us a preview of what the PAs were gonna be. I doubt if that will happen anymore because this community is never satisfied :rolleyes:

I think his point stems from the fact that first pistol spies whine because they aren't getting any P-C from the PA. Then it gets changed to WPL/WPW so now everyone bitches because the armor does nothing. Then someone suggests T-C, but then probably the only pure R-C spy in the game says it doesn't benefit him so it must be changed. :rolleyes:

No I was just pointing out that lame comment. I don't thik it's fair for him to lump everyone together as if every person was flaming him and screaming "I WANT I WANT I WANT".

SUre, I can understand Callash's frustration completely. But he shouldn't act like we're a collective unit and every person was against him. :rolleyes:

i don't think i have the only pure non-tech weapon spy. i was simply trying stuff out with him. yet i have heard other spies that are pure non-tech. besides it matters not what each spy wants or doesn't want. KK will make their own choices regardless.

Do not flame Callash. He was there as a contact person, a guy willing to share information with us, and act as an effective contact between KK and the community.

He closed the thread, "his thread", because it was a flamefest, and he has 100% rights to do it.

In my opinion he has enought info to work on the PA's without being flamed constantly. And the e-mail is not dissabled.

Being "flamed constantly"? I didn't think it was anywhere near that bad. And when I tried to email him it said "we're sorry, this person has disabled blah blah" :p

And it was actually rather tame compared to many of the discussions that in the past concerning new content.

I think the primary problem here stems from the fact that Spies have 3 equally viable weapon classes, but that it has been decided there will only be 2 PAs per character class.

That leaves Callash with a rather intractable problem.

Without knowing *why* it was decided to have one less PA specialisation than major weapon classes avaialable we will be forever going rond in circles.

I think you are 100% correct.
I think they went with 2 PAs for each class cause thats all other classes have as viable weapons types.
Tanks - HC or MC
PEs - PC or RC
Monks - PPU or APU
Problem is if they made 3 PAs for spies (like they prolly should have) we would have the Tanks, PEs and maybe the monkeys bitchin that they only have 2 PAs. :rolleyes:

Tanks could make the argument that they should get PC PA too.
PEs could make the argument they should get HC and MC PA also.
Monkeys can't really make a viable argument :p but I could see them wanting like PC PA for the PPU monkeys or sumthing just so they have 3 types.
