humm ... "wonders around and goes to PP1" .... oh look, an enemy faction PE ... "starts fighting" .... "gets PE's health down to 1/8 and PE uses STEALTH TO RUN AWAY LIKE A COWARD!!!" ... ok um "sigh" ... am i the only one that knowtices that this is annoying? ... Stealth should be limited to an amount of usages per hour or so ... OR in my best opinion that after someone stealths they then after it breaks have impair or something similar that lasts for around 5 seconds. Also it could work similar like the drug after effect. I was just in Pepper Park 1 fighting a PE and he stealth'd ... then when it wore off he shot me in the back so... this is very annoying and its not the first time its happen'd to me ... Who else believes in this "nerf" ? ...

hehe, i've been saying that for a long time now. IMO pes should have never had stealth.



Their defense, IMO, is too high to justify stealth.



It should be spy only.

GRIM actually i happen to feal that stealth should have a recharge time after each use. well least to me it makes sence. afterall it's not supposed to be another spam toy.

Stealth should make you harder to see. It shouldn't make you invulnerable. This is a prime example of a poor mechanic implemented to keep morons happy while at the same time screwing things up. If they want to keep invulnerability, i mean stealth, the way it is they need to make it where splash damage from grenades, cannons, barrels, etc. reveals them.

It does....
It's called Holy Parashock Halo, Holy Firestorm, Holy Pest.

All you need to look for is the little poofy thing loosing HP. AOE reveals them, the problem is you'd have to have them cornered, or they'd have to be stupid enough to walk into it.

Para barrels, fire barrels, poison barrels, dmg boost sanctum all leave effects on the user which allows you too see where they are by having dmg effects on them. True Sight (lol) although a bit of a waste of space, does destealth, and if you know there is a stealther can be effective, ie chase the cloud. So apus and ppus have something against stealth.
Spies and pe's need to use a wep that does dot dmg or cast a heal or something if they havenet got aew.
Tanks only really have area effect weapons which arent that great but still work.
I do agree pes shouldnt have it though as they can have better defense than a tank. Stealth shouldnt be used as a last resort to runaway when your looseing a battle it should be used for gurilla warfare type fighting, ie it should be worked in with the tactics of how you fight. A spy cant take a beating like other chars with a spy its not a case of have a fire fight for a few mins and stealth when on a slither of health its, theres an enemy about stealth for tacticle advantage, destealth shoot stealth rinse repeat. This isnt overpowered on a spy as they have no defense so if u cant kill them its cause they were better than you not because stealth is so powerful.
Stealth as a tool is fine atm, its just the way pes use it thats making some feel its unfair, at the same time though even a pe stealthing about isnt too hard to kill with the right character and/or tactics.

Any pistol user (PEs mainly) can use a rocket pistol and try to knock them off their feet. That's how I deal with cloaks.

Stealth does not make you invulnerable. It makes you untargettable and removes you from the player list. That does not mean AoE weapons do not now work.. While stealthed one can be killed by AoE weapons.

I use a Stealth II extensively when hunting or crossing zones. Stealth, run 15 seconds, find cover, restealth, run another 15 seconds, find cover, etc. If it had a recharge or a # of times counter, it would be somewhat useless to me.

maybe it's my graphics card setting but I can see stealthers easily. They wander around me thinking I can't see them but they stand out like a bright blue gas cloud.

Yes, stealth activator should be ONLY USABLE BY SPIES! PE's have so much better chances in 1on1 fights than spies.

isnt there suppose to be a time limit on the time it takes to be able to activate the stealth again?

it seems like they stealth shoot ONE ROUND/BURST then stealth again...it should be ATLEAST 10 SEC'S before they can stealth again...

I'm not against stealth being used constantly, I just blieve there should be a better counter-measure to stealth rather than True sight, and it should only be used by spies. True sight is just crap.

I say make stealth usable only by spies not PEs and well u can still hit a spy even with plasma - just a bit harder to get the hit with plasma. True sight sux cause not many ppl use em and if ur clever to notice a ppu with true sight u wont come any where near the ppu and carry antishock drugs.

The way most people use stealth is annoying..they abuse it...just like everyone...abuses everything...in this game...from parashock to stealth to barrells to blacksuns !


FFS i had a 15 minute stealth fight with [a spy] at MB yesterday he stealthed before even firing a shot 90% of the time...yet didnt actually use it to ESCAPE the way he should have..after unloading about 20 clips of my lib into him over the course of the battle i decided to go do something more constructive...

Yet I still havnt felt the need to whine about stealth as you have..maybe..omg..r u jealous u cant do it? :O

Oh yea..dark...plasma never hurts me when im stealthed..only if i stealth after someone pulls the trigger and before the plasma actually impacts do i take damage. If im hit well after i stealth my health bounces up immediatly. Soooo if yur getting hit with plasma while stealthed...h4x!!

I dont think PEs should have stealth either. Something like the stealth device should remain entirley in the realm of the SPY. Make it one more reason for people to choose SPY in pVp

ffs stop complaining bout PE's havin stealth. so u dont knwon how to kill em well learn u can do it ive been killed in stealth b4.

PE's have a bit of everythign so there fore they get the lowest stealth deal with it its not the end of the world. there armours good but not great.

they can only stealth for 10 seconds and if u do keep using it u do get blury vision as u do from drugs. so anyway

pe's = better armour but less stealtha dn less damage
spys = less armour but much better stealth and much better damage

the thing i hate is this game forces u to specialise and yet there is a class that is forced not to, and when they do what they are meant to (be a JOAT) and they get bitched at.
Look leave it be ok its fine, maybe some thing for tanks to kill stealthers with with out haveing to carry a AoE gun arround with them and naff up there ammo ammount, but still carry on. Also spys need some thing to see em with too :D maybe like a gun that has a speical sight on it so u can see em :D and shoot em sounds good to me.

hmmm maybe lazer pointed should counter act stealth.....but u got to have it on them for it to work, that would mean more skill = less effective stealthing is.
