:(

I'll miss his cracked out songs.

I suggest everyone goes out on their unnamed mp3 search utilities and downloads "rock and roll McDonalds" or "I whooped batmans ass"

:(

no way!

i looked forward to hearing his new releases on whatever radio station Opie & Anthony sprung forth on next

Always remember,
McDonalds is the place to rock
It is a restaurant where they buy food to eat
It is a good place to listen to the music
People flock here to get down to the rock music

Rock on London, Rock on Chicago, Wheaties, Breakfast of Champions.

RIP, bro. :(

When you go from rags to riches, you can make fun of him.

You haven't, so shut yer' face, and bow your head.

passed away is more formal. If you had respect for this guy
you'd know that.

Note the exclamation mark.

If one was to say "Insert name here has passed away!" then you seem joyous over the loss.

However, "Insert name is dead!" is concise and to the point while emphasizing the untimely nature of the death.

i.e. "The President of the United States is dead!"

Generally when someone "passes on", death was expected. Cancer patients 'pass on'. Soldiers are killed or 'die' because of wounds inflicted.

same idea applies.

Ummm, but Wesley Willis died of cancer. It WAS expected for him to die, and so "passed away" really is the right term.

Personally I prefer to use the more polite phrase "is worm food".

well i suppose all those drugs and shite didnt affect him to get ill so it wasnt his fault at all that he died:D

When people die of cancer, they usually actually die of a heart attack or some kind of organ failing or something at the end. Cancer itself doesn't normally kill you before one of the side effects of the cancer does.

So while WW may have died from internal bleeding or whatever, that internal bleeding was caused by his cancer. So, he died of cancer, not internal bleeding.

If a guy is hit by a car and he bleeds to death, we don't say he died from bleeding to death, we say he was killed by a car.

New reporters say that.

Normal people in everyday conversation do not.

And let's not get into an argument about England and English, because the fact is that England hasn't spoken English in centuries.

csh1

no offense but your just trying to bait him into a flame war, either
that or your a rude bastard.

Also, if your the type of person who says "died of internal
injuries sustained during a car crash" to your friends and family,
that's called Newsreporter english where i live as well.

No need to make fun of someone because of the way they talk is
all i'm trying to point out.

If I knew who Wesley Willis was I may of shed a tear. However, as I have never heard of him I just shrug it off. People "pass away" every day. Life Moves on.
