pls help with INSTALL

Ok, its like this..
Ive installed NC again. Ive copyed the patch map of NC before i deleted NC.
Ive copyed and pasted the patch map in new install.
When i start NC up it starts downloding again :/
Anyway, when its done i get a error with the message "in autoUpdater MFC aplication theres bin a error and need to be closed down" and then im back at the beginning when i try again.
Can some1 pls tell me what i need todo?

Delete patch 159 and redownload it?

Done that, then he starts downloading it 159 again, skips to patch 186 and then give me this error again.

Erk... well, maybe...

Check Files (launcher option)
Delete the patch before the one that causes an error

That's all I could think of. I lose.

I think the US launcher update (ftp://ftp.neocron.com/retailpatches/NeocronLauncher.exe) fixes that problem. Everyone should use that launcher anyway because it works everywhere (not just the US) and doesn't suffer from some of these download issues (such as the #159 patch problem)

Download and try that - get back to us if it doesn't solve your problem.

same thing hapen to me when i tryed to install it at work (yea i used to play at work untill ma boss deleted the game :( )

delete patch 159 plus 135 and all ones under say 90kb, then start autodownlaod.

Yep, US Launcher fixes the problem.

Why don't you change the US Launcher to Launcher V2? Or something similar? That way people who aren't in the US may download it.

Now i STILL cant log my main character on Uranus. Others work fine. What to do now?

..ops let me edit that....2 of my characters work fine, 2 are bugged :/

Hit the "check files" button in the launcher because corrupt world files can cause that problem. Also email helpdesk@neocron.com and ask them to move the affected characters somewhere else.

ok done checking files, this what it comes up with

corrupted file 'world'\dungeons\caves_p1.bsp

It also says theres alot of files missing and a reinstallation is recommended :|

If you are re-installing due to a pc reboot, don't forget to install Direct X. (I made a 2 page long help page coz I forgot to install it once)
