Help with launcher

Grrr.... crappit! Crap!

Finally got the patches 185, 186, and 187 crammed down my computer's throat, but now hitting the exe brings up "There's a new launcher, click update launcher on some bar you don't know exists"


DAMMIT. This CLOSE to getting back into the real world and now I am balked! I know I got past this before, but now I'm stumped.

Any help?

Start > All Programs > Neocron > Update Launcher

uhhh... problem - I dont have neocron in my start list, I think. I looked.

then go through your harddrive in same folder as the regular launcher

I think I did that, since I usually start from the .exes in the neocron folder... tried both launcher .exes, both gave me the "do the update launcher thingie", then I tried client.exe, then it started up, then sputtered and said the game was not current version...

wait... holy shit... I went through each folder inside the neocron folder, and there's a new launcher.exe in my patches folder...

heh... I will try that one then.
