enlarged advanced radioactive stabilized stabilized advance enhanced plasma rifle on the PLUTO server
i thought the cap was 5 slots?
if your wondering where im getting this information

wasnt it possible one time to use a slot enhancer + up to 5 natural slots, so it was capped at 8?

Slot Enhancer werent removed. Just the slot cap was reduced to 5.

Damn I thought that was still possible. Oh well.
And the constructor was Case. Had to blow that picture up a few times to barely make it out.
Its a really old weapon back when 8 slot was the cap. Its still in the system. They capped max slots at 5 quite recently, but it was possible to get more in the past.
You could get a 5 slot natural with an illegal slotenhancer = 8 slotter. I know because i have seen that weapon in game before, infact i even used it when i had my PE. I gave it to a friend after i rerolled who dropped it and it got taken by someone in pp1. Dunno where it is now. I think you could probably get a better EPR made with a rifle ultima + 5 slots anyway. So its nothing special...
I thought it was still 8 slot cap on non-rares, and you cant use slot enhancers on rares so they get a cap of 5 slots. I'm probably just misinformed though.
no, the cap is 5 on all weapons, be it rare or non-rare.
the slot enhancers cant be used on rares.
its also duped and there is like 10 of them on pluto :p

Yeah.. I've seen/know lots of people who have/had one.
It's pretty much a dupe - and it's only 7 slots because the guy who made it was given a cab full of illegals, and proceeded to make something worthwhile with them.
This is what I've heard - probably from the EON days.

i bought my 7 slot EPR from Russian way back when... for 100k
then i gave it to pitspawn when i was done with it, who gave it to some other guy for some reason
the natural slot limit has always been 5, even in beta 4, but the with a illeagle slot enhancer you can boost an extra 3, as far as I know you can still get 8 slots, but as illeagle slot enhancers are very rare now and the chances of getting natural 5 slots are slim. Getting 8 or 7 or even 6 slots is very very rare.
In beta people duped slot enhancers to death, along with money. So every1 had 8 slotted guns, infact we had a gun with such a long name that it crashed the game when you ran ya mouse on it to view its name!

Nope, cant get 6-8 slotters anymore.
I like the good old laserpointer enhanced Cursed Souls better. I wonder if any of those still exisits.
I had one of those 7-slot EPRs.. built by Case. They all were.
Maximilian Twilight looted it from me back when he was in crimson tide and I was in 14k. Funny.

it`s an old cs when pluto gone online you were able to mod cs with laserpointer and pistols with scope so its legal if its an old cs and it is an old cs, i say this cuz some guys told him a cheater :I

I got one of those 7 slot EPRs too. I was told someguy duped loads of em in early retail, got a temp ban for it, and GMs destroyed as many of the guns as they could find.
BTW im pretty damn sure that, even if you use a slotenhancer and get natural slots, you cant get more than 5 slots on a weapon anymore.
Actually parad0x there has been very little evidence of player duped items on saturn. At least nowhere near as public and obvious as those on pluto. For example that EPR and the xray cs with all stats artifact except range which is 112.
It used to be possible to get upto 8 slots with illigal slot enhancers, now you cant get past 5. If its real that weapon must be one of the oldest in the game ("they dont make em like they used to") hehe

Yea, Saturn Dupers are just smarter than the average joey dupe and don't make 1000 of an item, just a few hundred and pass em to freinds to sell, with delays between sales..
Anyway, I've seen an 8 slot CS before now.. though I was on the wrong end of it at the time. :(
