I was just looking in the gfx.pak thingy, and saw quite a few stuff ive never seen before, im just wondering why they arnt used in retail....its a shame they arnt used, they look pretty neat...

hive got the spells template as blood one day in a gfx glitch.
i do believe though that the pe stuff needs to be implemented asap.
also the spells should be too.
not alot extra in the guns department but the signs etc should also be in cluded however instead of being that nice futureistic grey etc they`ll end up being that nasty fking green that all the signs in nc are i think some sign variety is required
Well, all the red PP stuff in there has a manga theme, perhaps they didnt want that in the end. The clothes wont look right if you were to change them using the clothing changer thing so thats why they arent in. (i think). The heads are good but maybe they had a limit and just took those ones out (through voting by beta players or something like that).
And the rest of the stuff probably isnt in because KK either had nowhere to put it or they felt it didnt fit in with the theme of their game :)
Thats my guess anyway.

Daamn the clothes look GOOD the spells look even better especially the rain-spell and them poisonspells and offcourse that last kind of grenadelauncher Looks COOOOOOOWWWL (reminds me a bit of the grenadelauncher in quake2, even quake 3) and i would like to see the yakarma logo changed also, and also i wonna have that bank logo in :P lol looks like a shoppinglist :P
ow and them spells where they are dancin (same as shootin someones feet or so i think, BAM BAM dance brotha DANCE !!)
and them x-ray spell so ya can see what weapons they have on them or sumthing :P
Lol and coowl girl-faces and offcourse that hypnotise spell and them logo's they have to implement fo sure: NCPD, CA and the sypher logo offcourse :angel:
Doubt it. One of the things I'm sure I heard was that the rest of the world wasn't getting any kind of overhaul with Dome of York, simply because it would be too much work. Would be nice, but I doubt it'll happen
Maybe one of the artists did this but quit before NC was released and asked for his work to be taken out?
Could be DOY stuff?
I also noticed a costume with the words "Racoon" on them?

Yup, but it was ugly...
Im just suprised that a lot of artwork thats neato is unused...
I'd say these are some of the updated graphics textures that KK have been talking about. The guns look a LOT cooler, and there are a few spells there I can't identify (Especially that bottom-left one - that pic scares the crap out of me! :) ). My guess is that KK are distributing this sort of thing in bite-sized chunks over a series of patches in preparation for (holds breath) DoY. They probably need the updated graphics engine that KK have mentioned, too (Hence they'ere not in the game yet).

I dunno, the spells in the bottom right are my favourites. Blessed Nothing and Holy Fuck All. I like the Holy Parallelogram (sp?) too. But the winner hands down is Holy Hypnotise. :p

the gun in the bottom right is a beta 1-2 gun its a fusion cannon and should be reimplemented within the next patch or 2
on a side note the subway stations on jupiter have been redecorated when are the other servers getting their redecoration?

My god, that yakarma log right below the spells is 1337, ive seen some of that stuff when the sky gets bugged before, i wonder what the green booster was suposed to do, and would you look at those faction logos, way cooler than the ones now. Also, a new clothes shop, the bank, and all those spells *drools* is that third spell down from the top, and 3rd from the right a levitation spell? *drools*

The thing i would like to see would be that the GRs would be like entering an airport, like a big step to travel somewhere far, and subways a major transportation device in neocron...but bleh...
Also the shops, the shops would be cool if they had a door, some funky "shopping" music, you know, ambient beats....er, and have those glassed windows with wares in, like f ex. guns, but eh...

Hell it isn't just the graphics that aren't in the game, there's a shedload of sounds that aren't!

Some cool stuff, the extra sounds would add atmosphere to an alreay cool looking and soundung game.
Werent mines in beat 4, i seem to remember playing with them in PP1 :confused:
theyre still in now gm spawn only there was talk of putting them into game a few patches ago and theres a load of screenies from the test server where we stuck them all over pepper park then ran through them there were issues getting them to work right apparently on op wars etc. so they were never finally implemented

the sounds like "Warning.. body health low" are inspired by the HEV suit in Half-life i think.
if only they stole other things too

I posted some skins for spells I've never seen before, there are ofcourse aton of items in the game no one knows about, or can obtain without a GM.

Flyk got one that was spawned by a GM, and I made like 150 BP's and made the mines and we megaspammed PP with them :lol: that were sooo much fun lol... jeezzz... that was like just as epics were on test O_o seems like yesterday

sure, spamming a building full of mines starts off as fun an games, but then jim teh newbeh goes to pp to hunt some mutties for a mission, and as he walks in, he hits 1 mine, the sheer force of the explosion pushes him into another, which pushes him into another, which pushes him into another, etc... till jim's corpse is flying across pp1 faster than a hoverbike. :( how evil :p
they wouldnt actually kill him he`d just get blown abot with loosing about 10 hp

There was a PSI Cloak in the works...but they never finished like many, many, many things... You really should read those all lists of features the game would have from old Fansites.

I really like the look of the rifle at the bottom right of items0. It looks like something that would shoot either a wave of energy, or a set of spinning discs. :D It just looks sleek and I would gladly have that instead of my raygun image and model. :D

i corrected my self to rifle later on when i realised i`d put cannon there was a thread about the gun on the german forum a few weeks ago codi said it was going to be put into game in a few patches

maybe a railrifle, they look cool.. Railcannon's for the Rhino's.. and make the rhino's hover.. and change their shape....
They should do more type of psi's and Weapons realy, like gat fussion cannon's or somthing like that, you know weapons that look diffrent and diffrent effects but do same sort of thing as others.. Say the gat fussion would do same sorts of damage as gat cannon, but slower RoF and Energy force damage....
I can dream, they do have a lot of unused junk, or stuff that's still in game, but has been removed by a patch and not put back in....
Like the junk knives, they used to drop off mutes, and gat pistols, they are still there and f you got a BP you can make em, but they are not dropped anymore...
I think a change back to early retail loot tables would be nice, then a nerf to weapon costs and sell prices since thats why it was changed in the first place..
i'm seeing lots new spells (holy meteor strike, holy exray vision, erm, holy riverdance is a must have; and also looks like a invisiblity thingy wit the dude thats greyed out...)
The coolest sound I have found so far are the copbots ones like "feel the law" :D
i found that giga bank image by accident its still in NC out the back of the NC bank zone
if your wondering nc bank is now called stock x and it would appaer used to be branded giga bank since they missed one of the images when moving them all over to stock x ones :) if anybody want to see it i`ll post a screenie i took just before i fell out the back into the water/floor
how do i extract the images so ican use em, it currently seems to extract it as a pak file...how do i make it a plain old .bmp??
