Hairy Spiders..

It's been bothering me for a while now.

Do these "hairy spiders" exist i nthe game?

There was an event in PP during beta 4, where there were giant hairy spiders, etc.

I always assumed they'd be put in, because they looked much cooler and disconcerting than the other types of spider.


(I don't have a screen shot.. didn't think to take one all that time ago).


So.. does anyone know what happened to this mob/have a SS?

or.. am I imagining the whole thing?



(although.. one chased me up the ramps towards NF. .I'm sure)

I could have sworn they were big brown/grey things.

Anyone else remember these things? (I only ever saw them that one time)

i bet they are hiding in OZ7, along with the DoY dev team, Big Foot and Lord Lucan.

Only time I ever saw one of these buggers in game was when some GM or whoever was having some fun. I was running through P4 only to see one of these guys crawling around on the ground by the sewer. 8|

Ah.. someone with a screen shot at last.

The one I saw was actually a queen/giant hairy spider.. Maybe I saw the little ones it spawned as well, but we were too busy napalming it.



They looked much better than any other spiders in-game.. so hopefully they'll bring them back with DoY.. :confused:

i just logged onto the test server and went into pp1 and there were tons of hairy spiders running around that a GM spawned

I keep over 20 different species of ants, just as a FYI
whole colonies with queens too, professional type setups, not just the uncle milton stuff :)

Do ants increase in size the closer you get to the queen?....
