I just ordered Songs for the Deaf off of Amazon. The song No One Knows really does it for me, so I figured I would buy the LP. So what does everyone think of them?

Best tracks on the Album being:

No One Knows*
First It Giveth
Hangin' Tree
Go With The Flow*
God is on the Radio
The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret*

There are quite a few other good songs but those 6 are easily the best, the ones highlighted being my personal fav's

Odd - I always thought "First it givth" was the one duff track on the album.

That's a live song on the album, the original song appeared on the album "Rated R"

The first QOTSA album is more stoner rock like the music of Kyuss (which QOTSA members Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri used to be members of ;))

Dave Grohl is also in the reformed Killing Joke. The album is ok, sort of stands between 'whats this for ?' and 'Firedances' (if any KJ fans, as in old ppl like me remember them). should be fun at the V2003 as KJ will be playing as well as the Foo fighters, so the geezer is going to play two sets with different bands. Dave Grohl, the new Cozy Powell ;)

Saw them at Leeds in 2000 and they were shite!

Saw them at Reading 2001 and they were really good but bassist was nude (infamous for his huge penis)

Saw them this year at Brixton Academy in London and they were brilliant! :)

Fucking great Band!

But one should never forget Kyuss or Mondo Generator and all those other 1000 Bands they also had or still have!

You also need to check out the Masters of Reality, theyre quite similar to the Queens;)
