Saturn and its Ping Spikes !!!!

Yea i luv a good moan, Ok as it says the ping spikes on Saturn are really bad, i dont know if its a DOS or just shitty Internet as a whole. What i do know is its almost unplayable, hunting is no fun when u get caught in a spike, frozen like a rabbit in the headlights of a car, its a waste of time therfor its a waste of money Plz Plz Plz look into this problem KK.

comments and horrer storys welcome maybe they will hear us u never know.

I play the game on good old 56k, and dont seem to get many lag spikes... unless my isp is playing up. Maybe its just a saturn problem then, as pluto seems fine :)

Very rarely, if at all, get lag spikes and I play a fair 'ol bit (Much more than a lot of people screech about, might I add :rolleyes:).

Infact, ive been known to get lower pings than people on broadband, Ive found that people living in the states tend to suffer from lag more than us brits.

do u play on saturn then?????

im adsl and i sometimes get obscene( o_O ) pings but it calms down after a short time

Most of my playing is done on Saturn (Egos seem less rampant thee, as does the whole "I pwn j00" attitude...although there are quite a few notable exceptions. Besides, it's much, MUCH easier to find a Researcher/Constructor/Whatever than it is on Pluto) and, as I said, I very rarely get lag spikes....if any.

hmm might be zone related then helen, was just @ Mc5 for 2 hours and all 4 players were getting spikes almost at the same time........

Ps im on Blueyonder 1mb line............. and i get spikes all the time in NC on SATURN like one an hour..........

Last time i was on saturn was 2 days ago.. was on for an hour, not a single lag spike...

i had alot of insane lag spikes \ random syncs \ random warping on saturn
im on adsl and live inn europe and around midnight its fucking awfull to play some times
the few last week\weeks been awfull
