I might make a nude patch for neocron. No it's not the strippers. It's the chicks of neocron :) The guys will still have their clothes on *shudders at the thought of them off*. If I had a nude patch for the guys I'd always be looking at my own ass cuz I play 3rd person too much.
Anyways, if I make it, is it going to be illegal? And am I gonna get banned if I post it? It's pretty simple but will be funny seeing a girl tank nude holding a cursed soul :)
That would probably reduce a lot of peoples' combat effectiveness by... oh.. I dunno...

In this game everything is an object, even the people. Don't take a game seriously. I just think it's funny seeing different things changed up in the game. Kinda like when I used to play Grand Theft Auto 3. When I learned people were making skins for the game, even after beating it, I came back to play it because of the different enviroment. If I wanted to, I could make pepper park 1 look like it's winter time. Why would I do that? To make the game more fun for me. So why would I make women nude? Because it's something I can laugh at when I'm bored, and nothing else more than because I feel like it.
I won't release the nude patch, or the other things I have been working on; I'll keep all the fun to myself ;)
Edit: My goal was to find out if this is illegal for me editing image files. Once I get an answer, I'll have the thread closed.

made by Maven, two exists, one to remove the censorship of the US version (nude strippers) and one to remove all clothing. Which should answer your question also ;)

Actually off topic, but the GF was a bit shocked to see Pepper Park when she watched me playing NC first.
She's not really into the game anyway (too violent and thinks the monsters are too scary o_O). I would take a guess and say if there was a "Hello Kitty Online" She would probably play that instead. :rolleyes:

You're modifying original KK code. Read the ToS. Maybe KK could make an exception (but I *really* doubt it).
For instance: making the skins of other players bright purple would really give you an advantage in PvP. Real-skin color aint exactly purple, but you get my drift....
I've had some discussions about this (concerning my own add-on) so I know.
If you're still in doubt, mail to Odin: ferguson@reakktor.com. He helped me getting my add-on approved.
You all so funny, except for helen, seems like she gets the wrong end of the stick in EVERY thread i see her in, like when she said that spy PA got pulled solely because it didn't look right :rolleyes:

Technically, this is perfectly legal, as long as you aren't editing the models past the skin, if editing the skin was illegal, then Devils Thrill's program would have been shut down by kk long ago.

no stealth cheat, no transparent doors/walls, no nothing
there are only 1-2 minor things you can do that will give you an advantage over other players, and they are so minor that its not worth doing. :lol:

I am sorry i just do not agree with doing this. For the small amount of real women that play this game. Doing somthing liek this would just induce more harrassment than they already recieve. Perhaps you don't look at it that way. But it would be the cause of alot of really sick things, some people would say to them. Not to mention they already do, but imagien what this would do, to those people who already harrass women in this game.
It's just pretty pointless. Can you honestly say it wouldn't destroy the atmosphere if you were walking round P1 and every female model was in the buff?
The amusement value would be what, 5 mins? If that.
But Devils Thrill, that is one hell of a program you made. All the bland holos around NC have been replaced with cool pics I spent last night looking for. :D
