So? In the last 300 builds I have had 1 five slotter
You want five I recomend batchs of 100 best shot.

Try building 50 of them after you build parts for 50 of them.
hah i made 15 bps last night for someone, and got 2 3 slot energy beams. Rest of the night made 1-2 slotters. This morning made a 5 slot pain easer, 3 slot doom beamer and 3 slot holy energy halo :)

Constructing is fucked up anyway....
Built 20 TL 86 Blacksuns today, then 20 TL 35 Blessed Defectors
I got one 4 slot Blacksun (HAHA, evil 171 RoF, fear me ppl :D ), three with 3 Slots, six 2 slotters and some with 1 or no slot...
Then the Deflector....4 with 1 Slot, rest had no slots! Damn shit! :mad:
haha, I wonder if there is some hidden formula.
Anyhoo, I got a 4 slot e-beam in my 2nd 50 batch.

Pfft, that's nothing.
I had 200 Holy Heals built over roughly a two week period a while ago, (all the parts were constructed as well), and I got only one, single 3 slotted spell. 80% of them had no slots.
Slot chances for high TL weapons are severly borked, and something needs to be done to change that. And slot enhancers aren't all that easy to get a hold of.

Yea its so annoying and i think going to a factory dont work or something. My cster is 160 base and going to a op and getting 210 cst and i still cant get any good slots. When i was lower tl cster i use to get so much better. Did slots get nerfed or something. Cuz lately i can't get any good slots and if i do its rarely lately. :mad: Every new patch that comes out seems that my cst gets worst. I could make a 4 sloted holy deflector within 10 tries before.:wtf:

On the plus side, I managed to get a 3 slotted holy antipoison and TL 93 Soulcluster with only 10 constructs on the same day. ;)
I really don't understand why you'd waste all the money and time doing that when you could just as easily use the money and time to make up an Illegal Sloten and be guaranteed 3 slots or better. For shit like TL95 PPU Spells, Blacksuns, Pulselaser Pistols, TPCs, etc. You're better off spending your resources getting a sloten.

Construction, I always hate it.
On some days you make 3,4,5 slotters all the time (I got 4x5, 7x4 and 11x3 out of 150 weapons, low lvl up to TL 104 (Holy Rezz), and the other day I got only 1 and 2 slotters all the time.
Its so fucking annoying :mad:
ive had about 100+ poisn beams const (over time) and the most i got was a 3 slot....so i ultimated it ^_^

But seriously. I think the slots system is a bit too random. Random is good, but when the range runs from nothing to 5 slots when using the best constructors, you know it's a bit too random.
I feel the best constructors should be able to consistently produce a slotted product, with maybe a 2-4 slot variance. OK, this means you have to be absolutely the best to produce a 5-slotter since you can't get "that lucky", but you at least _know_ what you can make (i.e. I produce 0-2 slotted products!).

i like the fact that construction is random. i think it should stay that way. getting a 5 slot item (no matter the tl) SHOULD be hard to get. especially on items >tl75.
and i also think low csters shouldnt be able to get 5 slots. make it the better the constructor the more slots possible. like hacking - more skill = more buzzer thingies. so have to have skill over 180 to get 5 slots, skill over 150 to get 4 etc etc. just an idea.
oh and when someone say "oh i made 50 blablablaitems - and i got these results - it MUST be b0rked" i skip right past their post. make 500 items back to back then come tell me what %'s of slots u got.
just my thoughts, feel free to flame, shout at, curse, abuse me. i like watching people get beaten up by Nid.

lol i built 100 street model uzi smgs jus coz i was bored and got a 3 slot and loads of 2's and 1's , then i built 10 ryker napalm plasma pistols and get a 5 slot on my first try :) *btw its for sale on saturn :)*

I heard something about having those 50 energy beams constructed by 50 different constructors will increase your chance of getting slots a LOT.
I have a 5 slot laser rifle and 4 slot raygun rifle at first try.
I always see slots as a bonus, not a requirement... Saves you a lot of frustration... :)
lol jus did a test it took me 87 medicant uzis to make a 5 slot and rest 2 and 1 slot , i hate the slot chances
