ok, what the hell is up with getting slots on a Pain Easer?
I've had 5 built, and I've had a 0 and 4x 1 slotters. What the fuck is going on? I'm trying to get some PE's for the PE's in my clan, and I figured, pain easers are good way to go, cos most pe's can cap the Pain easer. But out of the five I've built so far, I've had a 0 slotter and 4 1 slotters.
I'm not saying I want 5 5slotters, but having such SHIT slottage on an EXTREMELY important gun is just fucking rediculous. It's arguably the most popular gun in the game, due to the fact that both spies and Pe's can use it (same as the SF chip)
but you make it so even with like 5 attempts you can't get a decent one!
how about this. KK makes SE's (slot enhancers) shop bought sept maybe the illegal. then make it possiable to add 1 of each type SE in a construction process.
Getting slots on anything is far to hard, high construction should guarente slots i think.
Only illegal's should be tech part built, other two should be store bought/rare whole drop/hacked boxes etc.

Hint: 5 is not a suitable sample size for anything except possibly "Does the gun "Pain Easer" exist".

Can you use slotenhancers on rares?? Didnt think that was possible.
Anyways slots shouldnt be random. Give the guys who invest alot in being good constuctors some more consistent slottage. Or make slots storebought. Lets say a 5 slot slotenhancer needs like 150 construct skill or whatever to be used.

No i think that is the solution. Slots should be mre depentant on skill and the chances of slots should be increased but it still should be random.
150 cst isn't really a lot, you can get 150 and still have a lot in wep lore. Those that specialise usually have towards 200.

noobs any one who specs 170 skill + has no skill or does not have a clan for op bonus , last 3 pain easers i made came out 2 out 4 stats artifact all 116% + and 3slots +
if you did some research you will find high skill does not mean lots of slots stop wasting points

My numbers wasnt ment to be the real numbers. Just for show.
Slots are fine, PEs aren't usually an easy one to get slots on anyways right?

You can't use them on rares atm, using them on rares was just an idea in this thread.
Your idea would most likely reduce the rare construction to maybe 5 constructors on a single char server what doesnt sound like a good idea to me.

I really just wish there was a much greater difference between me with 110 and someone like Zai or Cid with all int in constrution to make 175 or whatever it is...

The info on how CST works has been out for many many months, but people dont realize it. If you want to make cash with CST, in most cases you need to be CST 175+ otherwise nobody will let you contruct their rares or hight TL items. Sad and stupid, but true.
Slots shouldn't be part of the initial build. The gun should come out with stats decided by construction skill and with 0 slots, then the constructor uses his construct tool on the weapon again to add a slot, with the time needed being dependant on both TL and how many slots are already on the weapon. So adding a slot to a 4 slot Doom Beamer should take like 15 mins, and use up a lot of grease. But adding one or two slots shouldn't take very long at all, especially on lower level weapons. This would be especially good because it takes the sting out of being forced to use a store bought weapon, the main problem being it's easier to slot rares than high level store weapons.
Rares, simply because they are rare, should naturally give 2 slots at least. I mean, for all the rare parts you may harvest that you can use, how many crap parts do you have laying around to Paw of bear, or thunderstorms ?
Slottys though shouldn't be usable on rares. Since everyone always turns over their parts to a high level constructor, remaining slots beyond the 2 that should come naturally should be solely dependent on the skill of the builder.

I think slots were nerfed with rares. In the span of 2 weeks I've had 500 guns build. 22 came out 3 slotters, 16 came out 2 slotters and I got a whole lot of 1 and 0 slotters. I got a considerably larger quantity of 0 slotters though. The constructors I've had building my guns caped quality on guns and ranged in skill from 156 to 201. I'm planing on building another 500 guns and hopefully I'll get at least 1 4 or 5 slotter. That way I'll know the statistic is at least 1000 to 1.

Yes.
And guns need slots more than spells.
I think it should be at least one slot base. one slot isn't bad you can get an ammo mod by this. That makes the gun 50% more powerful.
Slotenhancers don't work on rares?????
what the hell am i collecting the parts for then?
