In a state of stupidity, I did the "File Check" thing from the NeocronLauncher.exe.

Says the Caves 1 are corrupt (Or something similar to that).

Needless to say, I now have a big arse download to contend with before I can play again.

What file is it that I need to copy across from the CD so I can get around said Download?

u can delete one file from neo and it doesn't check so u can carry on playing ;)

delete FilesToCheck.* or somethin liek that in your NC folder. problem sorted o_O

I dont think you can copy the files from the CD's. If you manage to find the right one, I think the copy would miss a lot of the things that got patched in to the game by all the patches.

You can delete the FilesToCheck.ini in your .../patches/ folder, and the launcher will stop trying to download the file. It will still be corrupt though, and you might run in to problems if you go to the caves.

Eh, well, just left it downloading (Couldn't find the FilesToCheck.ini) during a game of Evolva.

All is well again.
